I love this dishwasher. I have a large family, with lots of little kids. I wanted something that was stainless steel on the inside because it is so much easier to take care of. The 3rd rack is my favorite. It’s perfect for all those little cups and bowls my kids use. It’s super quiet and the quick cycle definitely actually cleans the dishes. Plus it is sleek and pretty. 10/10 would recommend.

We purchased this because it advertised advanced drying features. I would say it dries fair to average at best. The leveling feet go out of adjustment constantly causing the door to bind. I routinely find myself having to adjust the cheep plastic feet to level the appliance. It also goes through JetDry solution quickly. My best complement would be that it does clean dishes well and is very quiet when it operates. Overall we’re disappointed especially since we forked out the extra money for a higher priced appliance due to its advertised drying features. We probably would have been better off purchasing an average priced dishwasher in regards to it’s performance and quality.

I was always so frustrated that my dishes never seemed clean. I changed detergents many times trying to find something that really worked. “Luckily”, my 3 yr old dishwasher went out. I did my research and explored options. My husband and I own a plumbing company and install a lot of “higher” end brands, which i will not name. My husband leaned that way just becuz so many nicer high class homes bought the brand. I questioned sales people….read reviews….compared features…and went with Kitchen Aid. So glad I voiced MY opinion. My dishes have NEVER been so clean (even without pre-cleaning)! I love the stainless steele tub and esp the 3rd rack! The racks on other brands seem very generic but this one is great! Its also very quiet! Never been this happy with a dishwasher!

I was visiting my sister and she caught me cleaning the custard cups before putting them in the dishwasher. She told me to just put them in the dishwasher, turn it on and go to bed. The next morning I got up early to inspect the custard cups before my sister could wash them and shockingly they sparkled. Everyone knows dried on egg doesn’t come off in the dishwasher without prior washing, right? Well when I got home I immediately went to Best Buy and bought the same KitchenAid dishwasher that my sister had. Two weeks later our sister-in-law bought the same dishwasher after listening to us rave about the KitchenAid.

Tinny. All right I guess, came with NO instructions. book, so good luck to the buyer, right ? I’m struggling to figure it out myself. I’m not thrilled. Also, it really holds onto messy fingerprints, hard to erase. What’s happened to Kitchen Aid ? Used to be the best , now toward the bottom.

Horrible quality control and issues constantly with this model. I had to have 3 different units delievered before getting on that I believed functioned properly. The first unit had a leaking gasket that damaged my kitchen floors, the second unit smelled like burning wires and squealed. After months of having the third unit the dishwasher door cover is delaminating and the unit is leaking occasionally. I have a call into Best Buy and the manufacturer, but suggest you look elsewhere if you are shopping for a new dishwasher.

This dishwasher is extremely quiet. Also, it has the largest capacity of any of our previous machines and cleans extremely well. We completely loaded it with scraped but not rinsed dishes after our Thanksgiving dinner and tried the Pro wash setting – everything came out sparkling clean.

Not super happy with design of racks. The top rack’s v shaped dip down limits what can be put on the middle rack. Not enough room on bottom for our large cutting boards and cookie sheets for my wife’s home bakery even when the middle rack is all the way up. Decibels are closer to 55 than the advertised 40s. Racks need more adjustable times. Otherwise the dishwasher functions very well. We only went with the Kitchen Aid as the Bosch 600 would not be back in stock for 3 weeks and we couldn’t wait that long.

Its just right. Not too cheap (price and build) and not too expensive (especially when on sale). Its easy to trip over LG and Samsung, even GE, with the ability to WiFi connect (really?), steam, etc. However, quality matters, and a brand history of making excellent products is important, and in this aspect KitchenAid does not fail. The fearures are grear, the third drawer is deeper than other brands, and while Bosch is great (and what I looked at first) the KitchenAid beats it and the other brands solidly. Very much like the display with a timer on top of door, while front tells what cycle it is on. It is fairly quiet too. All around a model to be happy with. (Note, it meshes well with other brands as it does not say KitchenAid on the front. Smart idea!). (Also, when found on sale or at outlet, what a steal. I paid $552 and installed myself, which was straightforward)

Cleans well but so loud! Also does not dry well. I’ve never had a dishwasher this loud. I’m also disappointed that I was misled by a rep to think the extended exchange policy applied to appliances. I wish I had read the policy more closely.

It is okay. I liked the previous KitchenAid model better. This one is not as quiet and you cannot run a speedwash with heated drying, so each load takes 2 hours 45 minutes if you want effective drying. Everything also just feels more lightweight. The pros are that the brand is not visible on the front of the dishwasher, the stainless steel does not scratch easily, and there is a third rack. Dishes come out clean, but we rinse ours off really well before putting them in.

I love the dishwasher. Works great, dishes come out clean. I will share that after 8 months we already need a repair. On the bottom rack there are “Sliding Bowl Tines” that move left to right so you can fit different size items. Well, the Dishwasher Tine Clips have already worn out. I have Kitchen Aid coming to look at it so I will post the end result if they replace them. I found them and they are $28 to replace X2. The manufacturer name is Whirlpool Dishwasher Tine Clip W11213333. YouTube has a repair video for these too.

I have owned this thing thing over 10 months and I love this dishwasher, perfect for the price range i was looking at. It runs quiet I sometimes have to check its running and then cleans really. The 3rd rack helped save space for more items to be washed ( cups, glasses and utensils). Overall a great purchase and will consider buying again. Thanks Bestbuy tukwila team for recommending.
