Quiet, does a great job cleaning the dishes, and I love the layout of the racks EXCEPT the utensils holder on the bottom rack. Every other row has holes that are too small for even a normal knife blade so only half of the slots are usable. Otherwise, I would’ve given it five stars. We air dry, so I can’t comment on the drying.

This is the best dishwasher I’ve ever owned. Ridiculously quiet, if it wasnt for the lights showing the cycle – I wouldnt know if it was running. The third rack is spacious and and the adjustable racks makes the dishwasher tetris game so much easier! Kitchenaid forever.

I bought a KitchenAid dishwasher in 2012, but after ten years, it had done its duty. This was a five-star (*****) product because of the high quality and low dBA. It was time for replenishment of the old dishwasher. I returned to the KitchenAid brand because I liked the old one with the quiet dBA. You could not tell if the dishwasher was running without looking at the indicator lights.
The new KitchenAid dishware is much lower in quality. After two weeks of usage, one of the side guards was falling off and I had to call in for new parts. The dishes are not as clean as the old ones. It also does not dry well compared to the old one. Words used to come out completely dry, but there are water spots everywhere in the new one. The worse is the dBA noise. This new one is a lot louder. You can tell that it is running with the spinning and water noises. Only three stars (***) for the new KitchenAid dishwasher. Too bad that the quality went down.

This unit is amazingly quite! We love the 3 shelf design. Dishes come out clean and dry. I am very impressed on how clean the interior of the unit is after every load. We have a water softener so I believe that helps. We have no stains or residue. Great unit!

This dishwasher is wonderful! Has an extra layer at the top for bowls and chopsticks. Our previous Kitchenaid dishwasher died from chopsticks falling to the bottom and burning.

Having three shelves was a new pleasant experience. My last dishwasher let you choose one to 12 hours for the delayed start. This one only has a single 4 hour delay choice. Adjusting the height of the middle shelf is trivial. In my last dishwasher it was a pain. So far, everything has come out clean.

The first unit that arrived had an alarm that would not stop. A new unit was sent out right away. I am still not sure why they had to take out my copper water line and put in a flex hose. A couple cup hooks were missing but Best Buy customer service does not order or follow thru on getting the replacement parts. They gave me the manufacturer’s phone number and said I had to call myself. The unit itself is quiet and works well.

MONEY, OR EXCHANGE OR REFUND TO BUY ANITHER BRAND DISHWASHER AT BEST BUY I called KitchenAid AKA whirlpool and they said once their equipment is in the hands of Best buy they will not refund any money for damage or faulty machines because Best buy had it in their custody and then I’m to go to Best buy for the money so neither corporation will replace this machine and I’ve been told by five different team members that I have no option but to pay for the repair myself I’m still in shock don’t buy from Best buy unless I report back differently in a week but please do not buy from Best buy because you have no means of getting anything replaced if it’s more than 15 days since you received delivery. I don’t know about the cleaning quality or the drying quality because we hardly used it but they’re making me answer it so I’ll put one meaning poor

Overall the KitchenAid is working very well. Choose it over the other highly rated brand because of the third rack. Love it. I wish there was more flexibility in the lower racks tongs. No models are great for larger pans and pots.
But Overall, would purchase this again. When properly loaded and using the premium soap pods, the dishes are spotless, even backed on greasy pans.

We did a kitchen remodel, bought this to replace a 15 year old Bosch DW that had a non-working soap dispenser. Our work-around was to throw soap packet in the bottom an use the 30 min Quick cycle. Even then, the Bosch ran rings around this piece of junk. No rinsing, pots and pans, dried food—all spotless. I would take the broken 15 year old Bosch over this one any day.
Do yourself a favor, skip this Dish Rinser and look at a Bosch.
