This actually replaced my Breville oven and I like it better. Teasts and bakes wonderfully. Airfry is “meh” but I rarely use that.

Bought this some time ago and should have returned it! Ok for toasting and oven is fine. I use it to roast vegs often. Air fry function has been a disappointment. I have also found that the dial on the right has too much play and you waste time fiddling with it. But the worst problem is that the air fry rack is too close to the heating element. There’s not enough room to grab the rack without hitting it. I have come close to starting a fire. There are burn marks on my oven mitts. Had to give up and start using tongs.

So far I’m loving this thing. Crispy shrimp, tots, fries, the air fryer setting does a really good job. Maybe not as good as a true “air fryer” but far better than a normal oven. Really ended up with this one because its just big enough to cook a 12-inch pizza without taking up the entire kitchen counter. It makes toast well, but does take a little longer than a traditional toaster. Not a big deal to me. Overall I really like this toaster oven. I did purchase the Best Buy 2-year protection policy with it, longevity seems to be hit or miss with “all” toaster ovens, so at least I’m covered for a couple of years. Price was good and I prefer purchasing these types of things in a store where I can see the packaging and not worry about delivery drivers dropping it. If you have been thinking about getting one of these, just do it. You won’t be disappointed.

I had a Kitchen-Aid toaster oven with manual dials for years. I loved them for their simplicity. The only reason I was forced to stop using them is eventually, the manual knobs wore out. When it came time to buy a new one because of the wearing out of the knobs on the old one, I was disappointed by the fact kitchen aid discontinued the old manual one, but I noticed the new one, even though it’s digital, look simple like the old manual one. So I bought it, and I can confirm it’s just as simple and good as the old one. it does the job and is simple to operate, which is what I want in a toaster oven. If you want a good toaster oven that’s simple to operate and does the job well, and this fits the bill. I love that they didn’t make it a smart toaster oven, because I need it to cook/toast/reheat my food, not be smart.

I’ve always had a toaster oven most of my life, but this is like having a toaster oven, a convection oven, and any other kind of heating device all bundled into one. This unit has been a wonderful high-quality well built unit and I’m so glad that I switched away from some other brands and got this unit. This unit is built well and works well in terms of cooking foods of different kinds. I suggest that reading the manual is definitely a priority, but you have to experiment a little bit with food times because the convection oven in this unit cooks quickly and completely and if you don’t pay attention, you can burn food . That said this is the best one I’ve owned ever thank you KitchenAid.

Just like other reviews here, mine is also missing the broiler rack. I exchanged it at a different BB and it was also missing the rack. I was told it’s manufacturer’s defect.
