    Ordered this in July and it died by the next July. Once locked, nothing would spin. Worked great when it did, but not a long lasting purchase.

    Purchased it with Geek Squad protection. They were unable to repair and a replacement was sold out so they did a store credit at the same price. Looking into a different model to replace this one.

    Had a kitchen aid food processor for 7 years with a larger bow (12 cups)l. Finally stopped finding replacement parts and had to get something new.

    This one has fewer speed options, gets more food stuck when using the top shredder blade, and I miss those extra cups of space more than expected. I would pass.

    I had always wanted a food processor and liked the general premise of this product so I gave it a try. I found the shredder function to be useless as the vegetables you push down into the blade will only shred partially and then the rest of it will just fall on top of the spinning blade, causing you to stop, open lid, correct issues, repeat. In addition, the plastic clip with the metal holder that keeps the blender in place has broken on more than one occasion. Just be careful when cleaning the top piece because if it falls and you crack a bit of plastic piece off, it’s harder to use. Outside of that, the blender can do a good job at chopping and and doing food prep.

    Honestly, if you’re looking for a product that just chops and does sauces,etc. You’re better off with a smaller, less clunkier version of this item. The cordless 5 cup food processor was much better to use for what I wanted.

    The processor damaged. A switch was burned. The thecnical service told me it was because “overheating”, but I am sure that it wasn’t. They say that the processor cannot be much time Turned on. Why tha manual user doesnt recommend about the time, if it is a critical factor for damage. How is much time? 2 minutes. Terrible. I won’t buy Kitchenaid anymore. Another issue, I bought the processor abroad, and they don’t gave me the warranty. This is an international brand, so, I think the warranty should be covered abroad.

    It has been almost 2 years of trusty service from the food processor. Reliable is the main reason why we purchased over Ninja. The Ninja started to get a burning smell in the motor so we tossed. With KitchenAid you get an ultra reliable product. Blends everything we try but have not tried ice (have refrig for that). No issues. Blade ultra sharp and cleaning easy.     This is a large food processor so if you don’t have room to store look else where. That being said the sheer power of this processor is incredible. We used to use our ninja blender as a food processor and this Kitchen Aid embarrasses our Ninja. 10/10 would recommend.
