We recently bought a built-in KitchenAid convection oven and convection micro. It’s a very attractive unit. It fit perfectively in the cabinet opening. We had an issue with the micro door which was tilted slightly. KitchenAid service came out and ordered a new door. Best Buy was very helpful with the buying experience.

This was newly installed in my remodeled kitchen and it’s very smart looking. I have to admit, I’ve only used the microwave so far. I like the glide rack in the oven and wish all the racks were like that, the other 2 are a little stiff. I’ve already removed 1 of the 3 racks. The unit came with a temperature probe, a crisper for micro and a steamer bowl. I think I will cook a whole chicken before Thanksgiving as I’m a little nervous making Thanksgiving dinner in a new oven. It’s large inside. I love the color. At first I didn’t care for the stainless steel bar handles but they really make it look like a professional oven.

The good, I love the look and design of this oven microwave combo. It looks beautiful in my kitchen and has great functionality. The bad. The oven temperature is way off. I’ve bought numerous interior thermometers to try and get a sense but it’s a significant down side especially when baking.

5 days after install, the control panel failed. It was the week of thanksgiving and could not get a replacement prior to the holiday. The product looks awesome and hopefully will not have issues with the replacement unit.

Very dissatisfied with the fact that our company tried repeatedly to register our business for resale. Only to be referred to different departments & to people we could not understand. The tax should be removed from this purchase. Now we are told we only had 14 days to register for business. If you can not make this correction ten our business will have to go elsewhere to purchase appliances for all our new construction & remodels.

We’ve only had this combo oven microwave for about a month. We like most everything. A little disappointed that this model doesn’t have the traditional kitchen aid blue inside. We were told that it would have it, but the black stainless apparently doesn’t come with that. The other thing that I’m really disappointed in is that there is a vent at the bottom that puts off a good amount of heat when running the oven. We were not aware of this or we probably wouldn’t have gone with a wall oven.

The wall oven has everything you would expect from a KitchenAid. This replaced a two-piece wall oven, so by having the top oven physically connected to the bottom oven and only one control panel, it takes up much less room in the cabinet. This allowed us to put it a little higher, making it much easier to get things in/out of the lower oven.
It is a little bit wider than the previous oven, so some slight cutting had to be done to the cabinet to get it to fit. Also, the electrical connections are on the top, so hopefully your junction box is near the top of the cabinet.
Also, worth mentioning is that the black stainless is beautiful, but not very common. It took a VERY long time to get this built and delivered.

We purchased this with an unknown-to-us defect. The face of the microwave is not flat and the door does not always close properly. To get the microwave to run, we would need to push slightly on the door, or open and close it again. It seems that over time, this caused the door switch to fail. We had the KitchenAid AIG warranty but the repair person was told by KitchenAid it was not repairable due to the defective face plate. We received a partial reimbursement and are out over $1000.

Terrible quality, second one I had delivered and it’s still not good. Not used yet and the rubber around the inside frame in the oven is off already. Microwave door panel glass is not fitted properly. I use to love Kichen Aid products. Will not buy anymore.
