    Have Never shopped for appliance so quickly. It was an easy decision because it Looks great and the price is good, can’t go wrong with kitchen aid.
    The only thing I would mention is after we started to put food inside the refrigerator, we found out the shelves if it ever get stain from food spilling , cleaning may not be an easy job. It has quite a few area where it can trap sauce/food.
    Our previous frig wad Thermador, lot easier to clean in comparison.

    So far we are very happy with this item. Install was super quick and easy, and everything cooled down right away. Looks beautiful and fits perfectly. Definitely pricey so hopefully it holds up!

    Replaced 15 yo KitchenAid with this model. So much more energy efficient and more interior space. Build quality seems just a robust as 15 years ago. The old unit was still working but the freezer thermostat didn’t hold the temperature constant. The new unit is rock solid, I have thermometers in freezer section and it is rock steady.
    It wasn’t cheap but this is where you get what you pay for especially for a 48″ wide unit. Very pleased with purchase.

    I wish this Fridge had a quick access panel, otherwise the fridge is pretty awesome does what a fridge should do. The biggest question is will it last?

    Nice refrigerator as advertised. Meets all our requirements. I like water and ice dispenser separately. The refrigerator fits nicely in the location. The size is adequate and has multiple shelf’s to accommodate variety of foods and storage containers.

    Big fridge that hold a lot which is what we were looking for. Wanted the Black stainless, but due to production issues we ended up with stainless.

    This fridge replaced a similar looking KitchenAid older model which lasted about 10 years. The older model had to have the compressor replaced after a few months during warranty, but after that did not give any trouble. Ten years is not that long for a $10K appliance and I am hoping this one lasts a little longer. The biggest challenge was to get the fridge into the kitchen, and to disconnect and connect the water line as I did not have shut-off valve behind the fridge. The delivery appointment was re-scheduled 6 times before it was finally delivered after 6 weeks.
    The fridge looks nice and I like the smudge-proof SS finish. I have had it for a very short time and only thing I am not liking is the noise it makes when water is being dispensed or the ice-maker is being filled with water. It is much louder than the older model.

    Purchased an open box model for a discounted price about a month ago. So far, so good. Looks great in our kitchen, very industrial but sleek look. Fit perfectly in our cabinet. Well-lit interior. Ice maker and dispenser works very well. The refrigerator is very quiet – the only noise we hear from it is the occasional drop of ice into the bucket.

    Excelelnt choice; would buy it again many times over susposed high end brands like Dacor or Sub Zero—that are over priced to bergin with and have little longevity without continuous costly repairs.

    Great fridgle, love the lock and space, deliver was great, only issue is freezer lights dimmed after about 1 year and just a hassle to call kitchen aid and argue over warrantee after 1 year and if its covered.

    Just terrible build quality for such an expensive fridge. Kitchenaid is trying to play in the high-end market with this and they are just nowhere close. Within a year, 3 of 5 drawers broke – the clear plastic just fell out. The shelves are cheaply made and don’t contain spills well. The ice maker is just the same cheap plastic one in their other fridges. It ices over and jams up every couple of months. If you have a high-end home and are shopping built-ins, I’m sorry to say – there are no budget options. You need to spend on the good ones or (like me and others here) you will be buying this AND a better one soon after.

    We needed a 48″ x 84″ refrigerator to replace another of the same size that died. Steve Lim at the Colorado Blvd Store recommended the Kitchen Aid Side by Side, he measured the space and ordered the product. It fit like a glove with no extra carpentry or plumbing fixes. It’s beautiful and has lots of handy features. So far so good, and thank you ever so much for all your help, Steve.

    Great refrigerator! Truly builds in with the cabinets and looks fantastic. There is plenty of space to fit a lot item on both sides. The stainless steel is truly smug proof. Of course it keep items and beverages cold. We absolutely love this appliance.

    I used to have a GE Monogram side by side built in refrigerator of exactly the same size and it is a lot more roomy then this KitchenAid. Also, the doors are a lot heavier. I am not happy with my new KitchenAid refrigerator since I don’t know where the interior space goes. Also, the doors are very, very light so I do not know if I’ve closed it tight. Every time I close the door, I have to give it a second push to make sure it is indeed closed. I didn’t pay enough attention to the door issue when I bought it. I’ve just used it for two weeks.

    Great fridge. so far so good. Ive heard great things about kitchenaid appliances lasting a long time. Hopefully, i have the same luck. There were some build quality issues, i wasnt too thrilled about but i am extremely picky as being a quality inspector, of sorts, as my profession and i dont think non trained eyes would pick up these things. Its also fair to mention that the build quality items i speak of will likely not affect the functionality. The overall beauty inside and out and the fact that it functions perfectly is enough to warrant 5 stars.

    Beautiful refrigerator in general. But, after owning it for 3 years, the LED lights in the freezer stopped working. Thank goodness I purchased Best Buy’s extended warranty. Still in the process of getting this issue resolved. Would probably still buy KitchenAid; nothing lasts like it used to years ago.

    temperature fluctuates in freezer creating water droplets that then freeze.Seems to have a lot of moisture which sometimes creates a fog

    After waiting 18 months, we finally received our KitchenAid refrigerator a year ago—-

    It’s been 1 year since our KitchenAid refrigerator was delivered and the warranty for the refrigerator will expire in two weeks.

    From the day the refrigerator was delivered (November 2022) the Ice Maker did not work. The repair technician has been over to repair the Ice Maker 10+ times.

    Now the refrigerator itself does not work. It’s been 3 weeks since we ordered a compressor and waiting for the part to come it.

    Now, the entire refrigerator is not working.

    We are so disappointed in this model.
