More than I expected looking forward using it I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Happy –
Love this refrigerator!! It is so spacious and able to fit a lot of items in without it looking crowded, which makes it hard to locate things when you need it.
Bella –
Great product, great price and service! Love this refrigerator, lots of space.
magicmel –
Not sure if I like this fridge yet… 1st one didn’t make ice – waited 2 months for the return exchange so we will see
KichenAid –
Great refrigerator with quality, space and style. Be sure to close the left door first or your freezer will not work properly.
EB557 –
Good looking fridge with some nice features but low ice output and a few too many nagging problems. Due to a sealed system leak it ultimately had to be replaced. Luckily, it fell into manufacturer warranty coverage. I definitely would not pay full price for this fridge. I purchased open box for a very steep discount.
DylanC –
Amazing fridge!!! I absolutely adore the way it looks in my kitchen, recommend for sure! Hey
MelGib76 –
Always admired Kenmore for their classy aesthetics and the excellent quality.
Newfmom –
I was still skeptical about this refrigerator as it was replacing a 29 cu. ft. model. It takes a while to adjust to all, such as the soft close drawers, but a nice unit overall. Very quiet compared to the previous Whirlpool. Does not make ice as quickly though.
Christian –
Fantastic storage capacity and features. Highly recommend!
VeryNice –
Love this refrigerator! It’s easy to clean and keep clean. It’s pretty and bright I have received many compliments on how it looks. I love all the compartments that makes it easy to stay organized. My only awwww is the ice maker. A bit slow at keeping up
DAASKI –
Black Stainless Stylish Fridge with room to store all items.
Good –
Works great, hoping for no water issues long term with the new car maker

This machine had it’s quirks from the beginning. For example, sometimes the water dispenser would continue to dispense water after the switch was released. Sometimes, when you opened the doors the light simply would not come on. These quirks were infrequent enough that we just decided to live with them.
Eventually the problems worsened. The ice maker stopped making ice, the freezer stopped cooling and the refrigerator stopped making ice. All of this of course occurred after the machine passed out of warranty. Worse yet, an appointment just to get someone to look at the machine was 6 weeks out. I chose to start troubleshooting the machine myself.
I thawed both cabinets which were iced up. They iced up again. I thawed them again but this time I conducted numerous tests. I ordered a replacement main board as all other parts seemed to function normally. Both cabinets iced up again by the time I got the new board. So I de-iced the unit again and installed the board. Note that there have been no less than 5 superceding parts for the main control board. KitchenAid is clearly struggling with QAing their electronics.
Since installing the new board, the transitory issues have resolved such as the lights and water switch. However, the upper cabinet is now iced up again.
Every time this machine ices over it is highly disruptive to my life. I have to unpack all my food into coolers, leaving them in the middle of my small kitchen, significantly dismantle the unit to reach the evaporator coil and then spend 30-60 minutes thawing the ice with a blow dryer. Sometimes this process occurs over several days as I have obligations like work. This means every 6 12 weeks a small corner of my life is thrown into chaos.
I’m now 100% done with KitchenAid. This is the last time I will thaw the unit. I’ll start refrigerator shopping after that task is done.
This appliance was astonishingly expensive. And yet it is built with the same parts as cheap Whirlpool models (I’ve had several apart over the years). It comes with a fantastically short warranty and is almost impossible to find support for after purchase. If it wasn’t for some of the excellent online resources out there I would’ve been completely lost.
All-in-all Whirlpool corporation clearly takes no pride in this product given the brief warranty length and they should be ashamed to put such an egregious price on so low quality an item.

I don’t know how good the fridge is because 3deklivery teams refused to try and deliver it. I finally just ordered from Home Depot a fridge that was 1/2 thinner and they delivered with no problem.
Kitchenaid –
Great refrigerator. Lots of room. Organize apartments. Love it
jfish –
Great refrigerator! Having all the different drawers is great. Love the color as well, very sleek.
Crazylobo1951 –
I love it, has lots of storage, and match with my kitchen.
Claudia –
Like the middle drawers. Can keep Grandkids drinks in one while keeping meat and cheeses in the other. Price was competitive and was a good value.
MikeDebBB –
Refrigerator would have been great but got through our outer doors but didn’t fit through through our kitchen doors?!
Jess –
Wanted to love this product so much. But, ice quit working after a year. Then the entire thing stopped at about 3 years. Multiple visits from warranty but never got it working right again. Now we have a beautiful non-working appliance in our kitchen. So disappointed.
John –
Pretty good refrigerator, lots of LED lighting inside. The shelves are arranged a nice and lots of room.
JamesC –
We now have a 5 stars kitchen
Best Buy. Great Job
Brooks –
Love the look of the fridge but this particular one I got is VERY loud and I need to contact Kitchenaid to come and fix it. This fridge we just purchased was to REPLACE the exact same fridge we purchased in 2019 and had it fixed twice but it finally completely stopped cooling. So we purchased this replacement at Best Buy. The fan is SO LOUD, I contacted best buy two days after installation and they offered a ‘return and replace’ but that wasn’t feasible so now I need to contact Kitchenaid. I truly love the look of this kitchen set but NOT a fan of the performance at all. Hoping Kitchenaid will be able to fix the fan issue on this one. Or our next option will be selling our current appliances and replacing with a different brand.
JoyM –
Don’t have the item yet so it is hard to say anything but about all the delays.
Zcraft5 –

brucemc57 –
Bought this to replace a Whirlpool, which we had bought 3 years ago and within the 1st 30 days I had to replace this one so Im on my 2nd and we’ll see how it goes. Overall the functionality, size and appearance are as expected, I just need this thing to last without multiple repairs
Elmovic –
I love the space. Best part about it is the pizza section in the door
Tiya –
We purchased the 25.8 Cu. Ft. 5-Door KitchenAid Black Stainless Steel Refrigerator. We love it. The compartments are amazing. We have one specifically for our fur baby Blaze. It holds so much food items. We will be buying the KitchenAid Cooktop and Microwave.
Chris –
Bought this fridge in 2019, we had issues with it in 2020 and serviced it via warranty. It turned out to be the fridge evaporator being clogged, I guess they didn’t manufacture this unit properly. We have issues again some months after the 2020 service, now the freezer evaporator is clogged. It’s 2023 now and we have issues with it again, my guess is that it’s something with the sealed refrigeration system again because my fridge and freezer is stuck at around 60 deg F now.
Jensb3 –
Kitchenaid thought of everything with this refrigerator. Love the looks and quality.
AnnaB –
I love it looks great and very spacious. I would recommend it to everyone.
MaggieFig –
Such a beautiful refrigerator- but didn’t last long enough, It started with the led lights, then freezer and now the top.
Unknown –
Looks beautiful but not very spacious. Not sure if it’s only our fridge but It doesn’t have a great seal. We ended up going with this fridge because we were told Kitchenaid was the best.
Jkvr2021 –
Absolutely love this refrigerator: design, style, aesthetics and ease of use – control panel.
FranM –
We bought this pricey refrigerator 4yrs ago. Unfortunately, that is the lifespan. We loss the ability to make ice after 2yrs, then the bottom freezer stopped freezing. Now the refrigerator is not cold enough. We have done everything and it’s still not performing correctly. Good looking on the outside but a piece of expensive crap taking up a lot of space in my kitchen. I was a huge fan of Kitchen Aid, and even got all my kitchen appliances by them, but unfortunately it seems that no one is concerned about quality anymore. I will not speak well of Kitchen Aid going forward.
Products that are not worth the money.
Fryer –
Excellent product! It has plenty of space and it’s beautiful. Everything works great!
SaravananD –
This is one of the most functional and quality product out there, love the dual functional draw for fridge and freezer.
NeideM –
Twice the team didn’t deliver, first the refrigerator had a huge dent and then they cancel the deliver twice
DenverAprilSnow –
Love freezer 3rd level for flash freezing. Middle drawers are working well after schools snacks. Easy lift out of the ice bucket is good for setting up ice water baths. Only ding … freezer sagged when I put heavy ice packs in the pizza pocket to help it cool down on the first day. We just plan to keep lighter items like frozen ice cream bars in there.
Rhonda –
I absolutely love this refrigerator. The many options it has are easy to navigate. I can fit so much more than my previous refrigerator and looks awesome in black stainless steel.
Luka –
Really like the design and looks of this fridge. the cons is the ice maker is leaking water within 2 year of purchase. Was leaving a review on the KitchenAid website but taken down by the moderator. what a joke! so they would only show the good reviews.
TMelton –
Arrived scratched from factory but do love this refrigerator. Very easy to keep organized. Looks great. If it had not arrived scratched I would have given 5 stars.
MarkK –
Love it amazing quality and can store all my food…
Dan292 –
This is an excellent refrigerator, but we expected nothing less given the reputation of the brand. We wanted one with a full-width refrigerator portion with either a single door or two-half (French) doors, and this has the latter. The freezer is below, and it is full-width as well with a couple of drawers in it as well.
There are an extra two half-width refrigerated drawers for convenient storage of whatever you want to put there. We like them for quick-access to frequently-gotten things like cold cut meats and cheeses and fruits. We did not require drawers like this when we went looking for a new refrigerator, but we decided we wanted them once we saw them in the store, and we are very happy we bought a refrigerator that has them.
The through-the-door service for ice and water works well. Whole cubes, crushed ice, and water can all be selected through the same dispenser. Connection of the water supply was fast and simple and was performed by the installers who delivered the refrigerator.
Shelf arrangement inside the refrigerator can be adjusted many ways to suit your needs. There are both air and water filters that need to be changed about once every six months, and these are easy to get at inside the refrigerator portion.
Overall, having the refrigerator for several weeks now, we’re very pleased.
ArleneR –
Aside from being a beautiful refrigerator it has all the room you ever need. Love the ability to remove the shelves. By far the best rrefrigerator I have had.
SharonB –
excellent refrigerator – love the extra drawers on the front – i keep sandwich meats and cheeses in one and fruit in the other – my kids can help themselves without messing up the main part of the refigerator.
GraceQ –
Love it very peaceful and very beautiful inside love the compartments
JohnS –
The fridge is nice but is cheaply made and the ice maker does not have. Spot for the water to drain
RobertK –
Purchased refrigerator 7 years ago, so obviously out of warranty. Interior lights stopped working so called technician to replace left door switch. Should have been a 10 minute fix using the $23 replacement part. However, the refrigerator was manufactured in a defective manner when the door foam was oversprayed, thus “locking” the old wiring harness in place. Tech couldn’t remove switch without breaking it. Tech says this can’t be repaired. So – no interior lights and ice dispenser won’t work. Called “customer service” and was told they couldn’t do anything because refrigerator is out of service. I asked repeatedly and they would not let me speak with a Supervisor or Manager. I kept being told “There is nothing we can do for you” (boy, was THAT the truth!) They DID offer to transfer me to someone in parts (I already have the part) or to someone who would sell me another refrigerator. THINK TWICE before buying a Kitchenaid appliance that will last a few years and then start breaking down. And DO NOT expect to receive any kind of “customer support” from KitchenAid/Whirlpool. They will NOT stand behind their products.
