    We replaced our Samsung microwave which died at about 2 years old with this one. We find it to quickly heat foods throughout. The sensing option is nice as well. Also it has a very pleasant chime

    It’s a great little microwave. I like that it is about an inch less height than our previous GE clunker from 2012. So it gives us that extra space above the stove. Great cooker, cooks things evenly. No problems at all so far. Was debating about this or the mid price convection but that one has a chrome border around the glass whereas this one does not. I wanted this one since I got the gas range with the back panel controls to match. Gotta have it perfect right? You’ll be keeping it for a long time.

    We were “forced” to buy this microwave because it was the only brand where the door on the microwave opens flush with the unit. It was more expensive than we wanted to spend. However, we really do like it. There are so many features that can be used with just a few touches of a button.

    This item does not really explain the features and doesn’t tell u to take certain parts out. Apparently they told me that not enough food while using convection oven; therefore caused burn on back where tray is held. Only on one side though. This seems to b a defective one, but moving in caused delays in me using this item. I am not satisfied with this particular Kitchenaid product. I would not buy a convection microwave oven again or maybe not theirs. Do not buy; overpriced.

    My entire kitchen is now equipped with KithenAid appliances and they are great except this microwave!! Whirlpool has sent out a repair company 3 times to repair it. First issue was the “mother” board failed. Next issue the light underneath stopped working. Another board was replaced….then the light stopped again and now the microwave is out of warranty so I had to pay 125.00 for the service only to have he light stop again a couple of months later and that is where I am at now. Been on hold with Whirlpool for over an hour now and nobody from customer service has picked up….not very happy with this microwave but I do love my Fridge, oven insert, counter top stove and garbage disposal.

    Pacific Home staff at Best Buy is good.
    KitchenAid quality has gone downhill. The microwave broke several times and the repair guy blew the power supply and was unable to fix it. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty, and that Best Buy has a no lemon policy. After 4 service calls, they took back the unit and applied credit.

    I actually had to pay MORE for the replacement unit.
    Fortunately a Whirlpool unit was on-sale; so I only paid a little more.
    The Whirlpool microwave is better quality than the “high-end” KitchenAid (which is the same manufacturer).

    It’s a nice product works well, looks good. It came out of the box with a dent on the side is the reason for a star reduction.
    Installation crew did a great job, they were quick and showed me all the features quickly.
    They also honored the price match guarantee.

    This is a good microwave. We have no complaints after a month of use. It is easy to use. My only issue is price. The black print shield finish is neat but not worth the extra money nor wait time. Took over 20 days to get it from Florida to Alabama. I had truck parts shipped from across the country the month before in 3 days.

    I didn’t realize that microwaves could be so different. But this one cooks so evenly and defrosts perfectly. I haven’t really had a chance to use all of the settings yet, but I love it. We have had Samsung appliances up until now and they are all GARBAGE! Am replacing everything with Kitchen Aid.

    My son had one of these and we liked it so we bought one too. Absolutely love it. It’s bigger inside, more power and the sensor heating/warming is the best invention ever. Would recommend for anyone wanting a new microwave.

    I bought one of these in 2020 to install in my new home. I thought it wasn’t cooking at the wattage advertised but I didn’t test it until April of 2022. It is only producing about 825 watts. It takes about 3 min to do a 3.5 oz bag of microwave popcorn. It should only take about 2 min in a 1000 watt microwave. I bought another identical unit in May 2022 and it is also only producing about 825 watts. I will be returning it and purchasing a different model, which is very frustrating (my wife is not happy!) because this one matches all of the rest of my kitchen appliances.

    This KitchenAid microwave replaced a LG microwave that was repaired THREE times in less than 2 years. We had purchased the extended warranty so received a credit from Best Buy towards the purchase of new microwave. This microwave is VERY solid, the door shuts quietly, you can hardly hear it when running and the touch pad is solid and works well (the touch pad and door were inferior on the LG). Would buy this product again and now recommending to friends to purchase KitchenAid.

    We have been very pleased with our new microwave! It’s very quiet and the features are super intuitive. It was also fairly simple to install. We really like it.

    Really pleased with this microwave. Seems to heat things very quickly. The light is plenty bright enough to add light to the cooktop. Plus you can even set a timer to turn on and off the light at set times. The exhaust fan could be a little stronger when boiling water the front steams up even on high.

    Replaced a 15-year-old GE. I was able to install this one myself following the easy-to-understand instructions. It did use a different mounting bracket with screw locations different than the GE. Features and operations are just as expected. The biggest noticeable difference is this one is much quieter than our old one. Hope it can last 15 years.

    Works intermittently. I do not recommend kitchenaid and regret buying this set. I’ve had issues with every piece of this set. Microwave works intermittently. Kitchenaid said there is no fix for it, just open and close door til it works. And, now the handle is coming off.
