After much research and comparing window AC units, I decided on this one and I am happy with my purchase. This one is definitely more quiet than other models I’ve had before in the 10K-12K BTU range, which is ultimately why I chose this unit. It doesn’t blow air as hard as I would have expected for this size unit, but it gets the rooms cooled down eventually. (I use it to cool a small kitchen, hallways, and adjoining living room which total up to about 500 SF.)
