    Excellent boom boom! Got 2 of these, they are hitters! Our neighbors just LOVE our private slayer shows! Not to mention if we get in a mood for some dear old school gangster music! They love us! We love these speakers. My honey built the box based on the specs that came with the speakers, and he did a great job. They sound great. Now we just have to get some smaller speakers to even out the sound, but overall, great buy. Highly recomend.

    I have bought a total of 8 of these subwoofers from Best Buy. I have read some of these reviews saying they aint worth it. Im unsure if the people leaving bad reviews have ever installed their own car audio but i have literally beat these thing past extinction and they are still going strong. I have 6 of them hooked up to a 10,000 watt amp in my hummer and its hitting 149 db on a meter. Then i have two in my matrix on a 1000 watt kenwood amp and its metering just over 140. These are great subs for the price. If anybody says any different they just need to have their system installed by someone who knows what they are doing.

    Kenwood 12 i ch subwoofers are banging on my kia forte. Kenwood is old school well known in the audio industry. Got it at a good deal too. I definitely recommend thus product.

    very affordable, and sound great.. out of the box the ohms were around 5 or 6 wich really concerned me but after wired 2 of them down to 1 ohm (in theory, cause my meter was reading two ohms) and bumped them for a couple hours, everything loosened up and was reading one ohm like it should have, they were easily wired together thanks to the push in terminals

    They are just ok and I would recommend this item to beginners learning about sound quality. Kenwood used to be a top brand but now they aren’t for good reason. I’m afraid the kicker amp will bust them.

    This is just a wow. It is incredibly loud and I can definitely hear the bass correctly. If you own a sub at the beginning it will start to smell like smoke but after some time it will go away. This is super common for it to happen. Overall an awesome reliable item. Had it for 1 year…

    Garbage I’ve been through 3 of them. They last about 1-3 months before messing up. Swapped to multiple different amps from a bluapunkt to a pioneer to kenwood from 200watts to 100 watts they aren’t any good. Spend the extra money on the kicker comp R’s.

    This is a good sounding woofer. I had it hooked up to a Kenwood amp running at 8 ohms until I got the right box for another woofer I have. I’m going to be running this in another vehicle. I actually liked the sound of this one better than the other one!

    I like how it sounds now I only have 1 sub and it’s only connected to my jvc car stereo but the only downfall I don’t like about it is the weight of it I have a pioneer sub that sounds really good and I have had it for a very long time as well and what I love about that one is that it ain’t as heavy as the Kenwood sub but other then that it does ok for how I have it set up.

    I bought the kenwood amp and sub together got everything wired in and the sub hooked up bumped for three days and the speaker burned up.. you can literally only have 250 watts RMS to this or it will burn up I only had 50 extra watts to it..

    I went and got 1 of these thinking that they were going to be discontinued, the first one had a voice coil issue went to the local BB customer service and they got me an other, bored but curious I pulled a rockford fosgate dvc12 2 ohm out of a box dropped in this dvc12. 4 ohm..and there is a difference. Basically priced 2 b discontinued amts ,this sub hits smooth like the RF did’nt, I have not yet broke this one in Glad I got one. Kenwood Road Series DVC Sub…WOW

    The sound quality of these thus far sounds fairly equivalent to the SVC versions. The main caveat so far is being able to get more power out of amps using a single or pair of these. They are still in the break-in and testing phase yet but the results thus far are promising. Wait for a sale, got these for $42 each!

    I paired this with the KAC511 in parallel at 2ohms stable. The sub blew and smelled like it burned up. Super disappointed and will see about the manufacturer warranty. I was hoping to save space with a single DVC sub but if I had the space I wouldve kept my 2 SVC Kenwoods because they sounded great. I would say I played the sub at high volume for less than 12 hours total since I purchased leading up to it smelling like it burned up in my truck cab.

    Just relized i orderd the kenwood “road series” and received the “concert” series. Not sire if there is much difference or not. Kind of shady when you receive something different from what you ordered.
