Hollie –
Not as good as I expected for the price. Screen is kind of flimsy. Buttons are very small

The entire process from finding the right unit for me and what I wanted and needed to scheduling to installation was 100% awesome. The team from the Harrisburg, PA store is great. This is the second vehicle I have had a new radio replaced in in 6 months and both times I have been completely satisfied.
However – what’s up with the stores not taking phone calls to get a status. Because of that I will take my business elsewhere as that is just stupid and I refuse to deal with an organization that does not accept phone calls.

Great product and price, I’m very happy with the features on my new stereo, the sound is fantastic, I can do a lot more things with this stereo than I could with the factory unit, it was a great choice, the backup camera is amazing, great picture.
Finfan27 –
The only problem that I have with this radio so far is the time that it take to boot up. Other than that I like everything else about it so far.
RichinNH –
This is Entry-level in almost every way. You only get a “quick start” guide and while you CAN download a complete manual, they don’t make it easy – and frankly few of the buttons and actions are very intuitive. Then, Kenwood cheaped-out on nearly every function: XM radio works but Sirius’ add-ons like Traffia and Weather aren’t supported; the Traffic feature on Garmin Navigation is not supported; there’s no “home” feature to show, say, just the clock – you need to ALSO be running the radio; you can’t just run Navigation, you also also have to have the radio on, etc., etc, etc.
I would not have gone for this unit had I realized how much of an underperformer it is. AND expensive to boot.

I installed this in my 95 chevy van, and it works great. It has everything I want and more. Only draw backs are, the load time from when you start the vehicle is a bit slow, and navigation is a little difficult because of all the options. But overall I’m very happy i bought it!
ANGE –
PURCHASE IN LATE MAY. HAD IT INSTALLED IN JULY BY BEST BUY. I HAD A NICE RADIO WITHOUT A CD PLAYER. LOVE THIS RADIO, BUILT IN GPS, CD PLAYER, UBS, BACK UP CAMERA, HAS A LOT NICE FEATURES. I HAVE GOTTEN USE TO DELAY IN UPLOADING. IT TAKES TIME TO GET FAMILIAR WITH ALL THE FEATURES.
EPLP –
Nice headunit with Navigation which are becoming failry rare these days. It was bought to put in a company vehicle for the Navigation feature and bluetooth. The Bluetooth feature is underwhelming. It does not like to connect right away and it is kinda difficult for some people to learn how to use. Overall it works and gets the job done.

Too soon for the fat lady to sing, but so far, mostly good but not great.
I bought it for the nav, to be able to use my backup camera, and to have hands free phone.
I seem to have all the basics, but the nav is more limited than I would prefer — given that it is based on Garmin, I would have liked an ability to do more customization. In particular, detail at various zoom levels, better ability to create routes with stops, etc. I’m tempted to say that plugging in the phone (yes, physically) may be better than the built-in nav. But I prefer having both options easily available.
GeoT –
Works as it should and has a lot of features fair east to use I ordered the remote that works this unit it also is a good buy.
SoundUp –
Outstanding sound and navigation options. Fun to play with!
Sporttracupgrade –
Great sound system with navigation added the back up camera, very happy with this purchase
Ron77 –
Very good sound, but confusing setup. Carplay and Android Auto must be connected by a cord. Dongles are available that allow you to connect them by Blue Tooth but you need to make sure they will work with Kenwood.
Radio –
My review is not good
I spent 1700.00 on all new radio speakers antenna because mine old one was not receiveding a strong signal. And guess what still can’t get a station
The navigation works phone calls work play off mine cell phone for radio that all works but can’t not get a station. They told me it my car blocking the signal
BigAL –
Works as expected. Came packaged well have had no issues.
Notafan –
Resistive touch screen is not sensitive to touch, and cannot be seen well when wearing polarized glasses. Garmin nav system is hard to read and searching for locations does not turn up results that Google maps can find. The actual map area is only about half of the screen area. I was not satisfied with this unit for the price and returned it.
Eremy –
replaced out dated model of the same and so far this seems to be just that a newer updated and excellent headunit.
BackwoodskenwoodAudio –
The guys at install know the radios and had a good time doing it
Hohn –
Nice replacement radio for my OEM radio, I like the built-in GPS and DVD player
PokemonSPReview –
This Din has a plethora of features. I upgraded from a single din Kenwood that I had purchased several years ago. I have it installed in a base model 2004 Honda Civic. Because of the trim level, there is not much that can tie into the din itself. However, the features are amazing. I can not use the climate control or dual zone audio features, but the Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and navigation features work perfectly for my needs. Any music enthusiist, traveler, or luxury enjoyer can not go wrong with this. This unit is worth the money for its quality sound and features.

This stereo is great,& installer did a wonder job-I’m very happy
Cher29 –
The radio/navigation system is great. The screen is beautiful.
The installation team worked hard to make sure all features were working. It took 2 visits but it is completed correctly.
We were not aware that there are other pieces that need to be purchased in order to install the unit. The unit was expensive but there are additional pieces that need to be purchased separately. We wanted SiriusXM on radio. Make sure they add that attachment to your cost.

Kenwood – 6.8″ Navigation Receiver – Black:
This is my favorite Head Unit
TravisL –
Great quality and had it for 3 years know with no issues
Toad –
I have always been a pioneer enthusiast but after reading the reviews for the kenwoods the camera change the sound quality in my truck tremendously the clarity there’s no feedback the base is clear and clean one of the best decks I have ever purchased from Best Buy along with the cameras this stereo will do three cameras which I bought the dash camera the front camera and the back camera the dash camera records through the deck Joey at Westminster Best Buy did a great job installing it and cleaning up the mess that car toys left
Alan –
Great radio and excellent installation. Has all the features of a more expensive system.
ShaneL –
Awesome radio built-in GPS it has everything love it!!
CharlesD –
Great product works as advertised it was just what I needed no complaints
FrancisM –
This GPS system has a lot to offer. Aside from the normal directions, it also gives elevation, which is good to know when you are off road. You DO NOT need a cell phone signal for this unit to work, which is great, because when you are in the middle of nowhere your phone usually does not work.
MichaelK –
This entertainment center is full of features, from CarPlay , andriod, to satillite and great navigation
And a lot more, the HS sound is the best
TitoDNoonan –
Awesome radio…. 0 complaints. Perfect interface. Would recommend.
Ronny –
Excellent product that provides the most options and selections that are available in one unit and easy to use.
RexL –
Great stereo. Easy installation. Great bluetooth and andriod auto connection.
Myles –
This is my third Kenwood with GPS I have installed the in all my vehicles. The best thing I like about it is the build in GPS that works off satellites and not cell towers, so I can be in the middle of nowhere and it still works. Second I like the hands free for the cell phone. I definitely will install in future vehicles.
Houdinii –
Great replacement/upgrade for my original OEM radio.
My old radio dial and tuner quit. This unit slid right in and i kept all my original functionality.
ChrisR –
What a great experience with customer service.
the Kenwood deck fits perfectly and has had no problems.
unfulfill –
Took a Bit too long, but it turned out just beautiful.
Msn36 –
The radio does not pickup the call it just drops trying to get service dept to fix but no phone number? I got the kenwood radio for my chevy.
RonH –
Love it. I have to use wire to for android auto unlike the older model, but my phone stays charged
Andrew –
Great product but the it would be perfect by having a wireless CarPlay .
KathleenG –
I am really liking it, but just need to take the time to explore all the features
DanaeM –
I really do love this product. My only complaint is that it is not wireless for Apple CarPlay. I knew that going into it, however, it would be nice to not need to connect each time. GPS is great, response is really good to.
Zonz1 –
I really enjoy the radio. It has all the camera put AV input and satellite radio that I need along with GPS separate than my phone and the updates being free for the first few years that’s really nice have a good product. The only thing I wish I had was a little more power, but I think an amp will change all that, not the radios fault. I liked it so much about three of them one for the cars trucks and RV. Only thing I wish it had on. It was features for truckers and RVs for low bridges and height restrictions. Look for the ability to have four cameras that’s priceless in an RV and the DVD player built-in so it can connect to the one in the dash makes it really convenient so if you’re looking for a radio with almost all the bells and whistles this would be a great choice!
Mike –
A great unit if we could get Best Buy to install the unit cancelled our appointment now waiting 3 months for an appointment free instillation but be aware you have to spend hundreds of $ on parts purchase my advice get instillation done elsewhere
2001oldtoyrunner –
Great car stereo has built-in navigation, cell phone everything well worth the money

Awesome system! Just a bit on the price side. Planning on buying another for my other vehicle. Highly recommended!
