Before purchasing my KEF speaker set-up (including a pair of Q series floorstanding speakers and a Kube8 subwoofer), I went into Best Buy to learn and hear about the ELAC series. Unfortunately, they had them in the magnolia room, but no longer had them hooked to up to the system. Therefore, the consultant demonstrated the KEFs to me. I was blown away! The voices come out crystal clear in the center channel and the other KEFs sounded just as good to give a complete and full sound that easily filled the room.
I listened to a few other brands in the magnolia room, but kept going back to the brand I had never heard of before, the KEFs. I’ve had these in my home now for just over a month and I’m VERY happy with the speakers. The center channel speaker alone is better than either of the expensive soundbars I had previously. I love the clarity of the voices with this setup.

Sounds great. Matches my Q350’s perfectly in both sound and looks. Expensive considering you can get a pair of Q350’s on sale $500 which use the same driver as this speaker. It also takes up a lot of room but overall I’m happy 10-10 would buy again.

It’s definitely an upgrade from my old center speaker. It’s also about twice as deep, which wasn’t too big a deal, but it does take up quite a bit of space. That said, it pairs well with the kef 350s, and I don’t have to add extra gain to the center channel. I did back off on 65 hz a little, but otherwise am happy with it flat.
Do wish grilles were included.

These 2.5 center speakers were way more than I expected! Definitely worth it! I love the clarity you get with them but you also get a ton of weight and presence. After more than 2 years they are still as good as day one, great quality. Would buy them again.
