The Co-Star solution allows the Strato movie player to present a unified on-screen library that includes all of Kaleidescape customer’s movies – from DVD discs to downloaded 4K HDR movies – in one seamless interface. - With Co-Star, the Strato player is paired with a second Kaleidescape player via a dedicated, Kaleidescape-supplied HDMI switch. The players work in partnership to enable playback of all of the customer’s movies.

Strato systems can store and play digital movies in 4K HDR, UHD, HD, and SD from Kaleidescape Movie Store. Premiere systems can store and play DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, and digital movies in HD or SD from Kaleidescape Movie Store. - Kaleidescape Co-Star allows a Strato player and an M-Class player to act together as a single video source to seamlessly play back DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, and all digital movies up to 4K HDR.
