    Works as advertised. A major improvement over the Capresso superautomatic coffee maker we had many years ago. Well made, and makes excellent products from plain coffee to all of the milk drinks.

    Love this beautiful machine—fairly easy to operate at basic level and then as things become familiar new customizations start to make sense which are so easy to do! The instruction booklet is awesome as are the tutorials at Jura and other sites. I love the espresso and family and friends love the milk drinks and coffee as well. I’m glad to be using beans again w no plastic pods. Delicious, easy to clean per recommendations, and so quick to that lovely crema topped hot tasty beverage and aroma filling the house. I’m taking care to buy beans that aren’t oily which is challenging w my dark roast/medium/dark preferences, but so far so good!!!

    The Jura E8 has been delightful. The learning curve was quick. Coconut cream that I tried was too thick. Almond milk works very well. Laird unsweetened creamer (coconut milk blend) works very well. I’m very pleased!

    This is just a wonderful machine. At first it seems expensive. But I’ve had this for a couple of months and I’m sure I’ve already got my money’s worth. Literally everyone in my house uses our E8. Whether it’s me making espresso or my teenage son making latte macchiatos, everyone just loves it. We even put a little chocolate syrup at the bottom of the cup before making some of the milk-based drinks and it tastes great.

    A truly amazing machine, I did everything to make it work for us. From the perspective of brewing a cup coffee it did an amazing job. The issue that we had with the machine is that my wife and I both have milk allergies. We always have to use some kind of alternate milk like soy, almond, or oat milk with our coffee. The frothing device on this machine will not work with anything other than dairy milk. We liked the machine so much that we brought home 12 different kinds of non-dairy milk, including the one that Jura recommended, hoping we could get the Jura to work. We were not able to get any of the alternate milks to froth, they came out more like steamed milk. I spent time on the customer service line with the Jura representative and they said that it’s a known issue. I asked if I upgraded to one of the higher models and the representative mentioned that it doesn’t matter if I buy the $2,500 model or the $5,000 model, the frothing system works the same. If you use dairy milk in your coffee the frothing machine works very well. If this machine would’ve worked with alternate milks I would’ve given the Jura five stars. If you use dairy in your coffee this is the machine for you!

    Suppose to be easier to use then regular espresso machine and it’s not. Have to clean milk system all the time and if you forget it stinks. Made out of cheapest plastic possible. Doesn’t worth the money in my opinion. Had to return it

    YOU CAN’T CONTROL THE AMOUNT OF FOAM/HOT MILK
    Very disappointed with this Jura coffee machine, on my latte macchiato there is way to much foam and there is no dial or anything to control the foam.
    This is the answer from Jura customer service specialist:
    “Unfortunately you can not control the foam. The machine will only produce foam.”
    JURA should either fix this or let potential buyers know about this big inconvenient before they spend more than $2K on this coffee machine.

    Love this machine, I’m so glad I bought it and now saving money on coffee shops where they charge arm and a leg for a cup of coffee. This coffee machine has variety of coffee options, I personally picked a few that I like and my husband has his own favorite list of coffee. It’s so easy to use and machine does it’s own rinsing every time you use it. Doesn’t take up a lot of space. Simple to use coffee shop grade coffee.

    I have tried a NUMBER (4) different Jura models from various vendors. This is the one we love the most

    We purchased with BestBuy protection plan also bc as an expensive machine – we don’t know how expensive repair might be.

    Best coffee you can have –
    suggestion use organic beans 🙂

    While it is expensive, it is totally worth it. if you want a mixture of milk and non-milk based coffee , this is the machine. The coffee is mind blowing and totally worth waking up for 🙂

    Con – only thing i don’t like about it is the number of options available, there is no real explanation of the type drinks that are available.

    This machine replaced a 20yr old Capresso C3000. That was a fantastic machine, but finally had a terminal failure.

    While I really liked the coffee (many types) from the C3000, the E8 actually make better tasting coffee. I like the simple operations and the cleaning routine. It also has a much faster heating cycle vs the C3000.

    Couldn’t be happier with the E8

    This machine does everything coffee. But it’s complicated to use and coffee is bitter. Pictures to select brew are confusing – latte pic too similar to cappuccino, etc. Machine is sturdy; looks impressive on counter. Expensive.

    Jura E8 needs to bring back the adjustable Milk Foam/Froth. This unit only will froth or steam milk based on the beverage chosen. You no longer have control.

    I LOVE this machine! The self rinse/cleaning is wonderful! And it’s also convenient that it reminds you to clean the grounds container and drip tray. I do wish that it would let you know when the beans are low, but other than that I have no complaints so far. I may never go to SB again!

    We love this machine. It is well worth the price. Only issue was the clips on the water tank were broken off in shipment and were on the bottom of the water tank. I suggest that the water tank be securely taped to the unit prior to shipping.

    Decent coffee maker but the cappucino milk spigot must be cleaned constantly. Also, it does not tell you when the water or beans are low.

    Great espresso, jura quality, love the way milk system works and how it cleans itself, you really cant ask for anything else, a must for coffee lovers.. i had the E6 before this one but E8 has more automation and “hands off” approach, if you can make the extra splurge go for it.

    I purchased this machine after my jura F7 died after almost 9 years. It makes excellent espresso and is easy to use. The plastic is somewhat thin but overall I am enjoying the machine.

    This is my second Jura, the one we had before lasted 9 years. I wouldn’t buy any other brand, not only does it last years, but the coffee is absolutely delicious! I am in awe with so many cofee varieties that this thing makes, worth every penny in my opinion!

    The taste and quality of espresso smd coffee coming from this machine is absolutely incredible. As it should be for the price. Its extremely easy to set up and use. Maintaining it is simple as well. While there are proprietary cleaning supplies you’ll have to use, at least you’ll know that it cleans thoroughly. A lot of gripes have been made by the fact you’ll have to buy filters and such, but Jura cares about their name and quality and they are making sure the machines live up to the price tag.

    Broke after 8 months. We’ve been trying contact Jura customer service for 4 days(calls, emails, Instagram) and all we’ve gotten in crickets! It’s $2,500 paper weight at this point – and all just before the holidays!!

    selection of coffee especialty on the screen only comes in images and the words display will only appear once you press the button. Therefore if you press it you will just accept it because there is no cancel button.
