    It reminds me too much of other things for me to take it serious. The technology is good in practice, but it’s just a placeholder for real selfie/camera options, cellphone wise. This is a toy at best, best “cell phone tripod” thing or whatever within it’s price range.

    The legs bend almost any way you want. However the larger modern phones of today make this unit very unstable. Doesnt work at all for straight down angled videos/photos.

    Functional. A bit lightweight, and the flexible arms pop out if you wrap them too snugly around an object. But it’s a good little affordable guy that works for most DIY applications.

    I needed a tough, dependable phone holder with adjustable legs that I knew could latch on to many different surface types. I found the JOBY – GorillaPod Content Creator Tripod in-store and I have not been disappointed. On the safety side of things, the phone grip itself fits snug but it isn’t difficult to remove the phone. The legs have centipede-like segments that allow for a virtually unlimited array of positions. It checks all the boxes.

    Overall happy with the product for its price. Was able to fit it into the front zipper of a backpack for a flight and a week of traveling for work. Only negative is that the legs can come detached if you twist in the wrong direction.

    I went to Best Buy to get a selfi stick; it hurts my shoulders to hold my phone for any length of time, and I need to. I initially balked at the price – after all, I only wanted a simple selfie stick. But let me tell you, I am SO glad I got this. Not only does it work wonderfully as a selfie-stick, but I was able to use it to tape two interviews I did with professional wrestlers for my podcast, and the wrap around function of the legs (which work STELLAR and hold so well) made it so the set-up of my phone for the taping was a breeze. I am sorry I didn’t buy it sooner.

    Exactly what i needed, great for the beer reciews I do feom venue to venue..set it up as a tripod, wrap it around objects with ease and quickly. I document fun times with my 6 year old and even get cinematic shots, couldnt ask for more.

    Versatile, sturdy and easy to adjust. It’s a little hard to get larger phones into the clip, but once clipped in it doesn’t slide.
