I grabbed the wrong color but that’s my fault. I had previous jabras for about 3 years until i dropped an earbud. I’ve dropped them multiple times already. These new ones are bigger but you cant beat weeks going to the gym without charging. A few new features. They’re expensive but reliable and I think its worth it.

I recently purchased the Jabra Elite 85t earbuds from BestBuy, and unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. Within just three months of use, these earbuds have proven to be far from the high-quality product I was hoping for.
Right from the start, I encountered issues with the functionality of the earbuds. The most prominent problem is the earbud’s inconsistent performance; one side often fails to produce any sound, leaving me with a lopsided and unsatisfying listening experience.
Adding insult to injury, I’ve noticed an incessant static noise that accompanies my audio playback. This annoying noise disrupts the music or podcasts I’m trying to enjoy and ruins the overall experience. It’s incredibly frustrating to have invested in a supposedly premium pair of earbuds only to be constantly interrupted by this disruptive static.
Furthermore, I’ve experienced frequent dropouts and disconnections while using them with my smartphone, even when it’s within a reasonable range. This makes it impossible to trust the earbuds during critical moments when I need them the most.
I called BestBuy customer service only to be told no returns or exchange after 15 days. A brand new product with 15 days guarantee. The Jabra Elite 85t earbuds have consistently failed to meet the performance standards that were promised, leaving me deeply unsatisfied with my purchase.
The customer service experience has not been any better. When I reached out to Jabra for assistance, the response time was slow, and their suggestions were generic and unhelpful. I expected a more supportive and proactive approach, given the premium price tag attached to these earbuds.
In conclusion, I regret my decision to purchase the Jabra Elite 85t earbuds from BestBuy. The Jabra Elite 85t seems to be plagued with numerous technical issues, including sound imbalances, persistent static noise, and unreliable connectivity. For a product that claims to offer top-tier audio quality and features, this performance is simply unacceptable. I urge potential buyers to consider other alternatives, as I can’t recommend the Jabra Elite 85t or BestBuy based on my unsatisfactory experience.

I got the Jabra Elite 85T as a warranty replacement set for my Sony WF-1000XM4, Best Buy didn’t have another set in stock. I used to have an Elite 75T set before that and really liked them alot so I knew that Jabra was good alternate. The Elite 85T sound great, the noise canceling is very effective, the battery life on them is great, and they look good. The only negatives are the pairing was a pain in the butt, the bass is underwhelming when compared to my old Sony’s, and the EQ customization isn’t as wide as my old Sony’s. Overall, they’re a good set and I like them.

Owned the 75t for years. Loved those and after the years of use the stopped working. Went with the 85t and love them. Don’t notice a difference at all really between the 75t and 85t and I like that. Don’t fix what isn’t broken

These are the best! The only issue is that if they go thru the wash they do not recover. I know that that seems like a no brainer but we have gone thru numerous sets because “they don’t wash well”. The case is small so they fit on your pocket well, thus the problem of going thru the laundry. They do work very well which is why we keep buying replacements.

The Jabra Elite 85t is an excellent pair of earphones. The sound quality is great and with the Jabra Sound+ phone application you can further tweak the output to your liking. Good highs, mids and a nice bass!
Noise cancelling works very well. I mostly use my earphones while travelling by air and once ANC is on, I can barely hear the airplane’s ambient noise.
My only complaint is the “bulkier” build compared to the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. I found the Elite 7 Pro more comfortable since they are smaller.
Overall a great buy!

I have tried many earbuds and these are the best so far. Jabra really made these perfect for many applications. I never had any issues with them coming out or breaking, I drop them all the time. Their app is really great as well.

I bought these because I wanted something without cords, and I tried several other manufacturers before settling on these.
The fit is pretty good, although my ears must be between sizes because I can’t find the perfect bud. I would not wear them for vigorous exercise.
Controls are easy to use and pretty easy to remember. They pair automatically as soon as you take them out of the case. Battery life is pretty good, but I have no basis for comparison.
ANC works well for an in-ear headphone, but you can’t expect it to be as isolating as over-the-ear models.
The sound quality is where it gets interesting. With ANC activated, it is decent but not spectacular. In any other mode, it is anemic, thin, and unlistenable. Most surprising is that the sound quality is still better than other comparably priced models I tried.
All that being said, my rating is with respect to other ear buds, not headphones in general.

Do not buy these before doing your research. I purchased these about a year and a half ago and one day, the right ear bud volume decreased automatically, all by itself. I contacted Jabra and did all of their suggestions but to no avail. They offered to give me a very small percentage off on a new pair and that was all that they were willing to do. These are FAR too expensive for a little over a years usage. There is a known issue with these and lots of people had similar issues as I learned this after the fact. Save your money on this cheap junk

I like these! I also have the Airpod Pro earbuds, and these are so much better. They connect better, sound better, and are more reliable. I have used Ant, Motorola, Bose, Apple, and other brands of earbuds and these stand out.
They don’t do a great job in noisy environments when used for hands-free talking, but I have not had a set that does. Battery life is good, and they stay in my ears. I fly a lot, and they do a great job of cutting background noise. I have purchased two sets. One earbud from the first set got lost, so I purchased a second set without a second thought. There is one issue I have found. I have tried to use these as hands-free for video calls on my MacBook Pro. They constantly mute the audio for some reason. That is the only reason I keep my Airpods.

Charging base died exactly 1 year after purchase. Noise cancelling is not exemplary. Ear comfort is ok. Sound quality is average. Clearly, I would not recommend. My Bose have lasted years.
