    Following the instructions, setup was as easy as it should be. Tried casting from Samsung, iPhone, iPad, windows & macOS. It worked perfectly fine. However without internet connection, I can’t seem to get the Google pixel to cast. Still 5*

    Setup is pretty easy but loses connection frequently and programs like word and excel are often pixellated / unreadable on the screen. Sometimes it works great, but resetting the unit doesn’t seem to fix it when it is acting up.

    So far i like the device. Easy hookup, easy screen mirroring, i am able to cast prime movies from my phone to my somewhat smart tv. Dont even waste your money on the cheap chinese casting devices, nothing but headaches.

    Good product worked without a hitch! Needed it for my car to screen mirror, of course you need a network to connect to so make sure you have that setup first.

    Easy setup and mirrors to TV to display iPhone contents; however, it does not work with Netflix or your cable provider app if you have no WiFi. My iPhone cell data plan does not include hot spot, so I could not setup a WiFi network. I did called Tech support and left a message. Its been 3 days now and no call back. I did get another product which is an AV adapter that allows a HDMI cable to connect phone to TV. Problem solved.

    it does great with my photos; not as good casting audio. installer blamed it on my phone, but the phone audio does great with the new car system

    This is the best casting product I have purchased, its my 3rd one, and I might buy another, I use it to cast on non smart Tvs at my hotel stays and I also use one at work to cast presentations, easy to hook up and connect ( S-23 ultra),

    Pretty convenient for traveling with, very easy to connect to and picture is very clear.
    Only limitation is ios devices connect using wifi, which limits usage.

    It works great if you are doing video conferences but not good at all for games. I use for connecting my laptop to a hotel TV so I can sit away from the monitor. Easier then trying to carry a long HDMI cable.

    Works ok but not what I really needed. I already have a tv I can cast to so this doesn’t help. I wanted to connect a windows pc to the tv. This won’t do that. It has to be a Bluetooth device. I wish the description had been a little clearer

    I watch a lot of videos on my phone and this was a quick and easy way to watch them on my tv in bed or when my phone is charging. Every once in a while the video will get real laggy and itll say connection unstable. You just have to disconnect and reconnect.

    Purchased for multiple presentations. I tested this product in advance with two TV’s at home, as well as the TV’s/screens where I would be presenting. While the product worked great with no issues, the college auditoriums where I was going to be presenting had wireless displays built-in to their screens.

    I returned this item, but it worked as advertised! If I need to purchase this item again for a different location that doesn’t have wireless displays available, I will go this product!

    Overall this does what you want – casts your pc or mobile device to a monitor or TV wirelessly. Getting it set up to do so is straightforward, but ensuring it stays connected has been an exercise in futility. I use it for my work, extending the screen of my laptop to my (brand new) monitor. I can’t be any closer to the device, as everything is on the same desk, and yet periodically throughout the day it will suddenly lose the connection. When it does I get a green screen, where I then have to unplug the device, plug it back in, and reconnect. If you don’t mind periodic frustrations like that, then this is right up your alley, but for $80 I was expecting better.

    Returned it. The quality of the 4k is awful. Screen is Glitchy and even at 30hz it is worthless. Tried from 2 different computers and 2 tvs. Just not as good as the Microsoft Adapter 4k. Wish that was still around. Just go with the 1080p one. Easy to set up but sucks.

    I didn’t like this item and I would not recommend it. Not only was it confusing for me to figure out. But I couldnt use it with my own wifi for some reason!!!

    This appears to be a simple and straight forward screen casting solution and supports several formats. But it does not work with Meta Quest 3 casting, despite allegedly supporting chromecast. It does support screen mirroring from iOS devices, with some drop off in quality due to compression.

    Would not connect to my Win10 PC via any of the display options and their support is slow enough to delay you past the 15-day return date. Even with knowing the PC had full compatibility, Support was unable to get it to work.

    The j5create ScreenCast 4K works shockingly well. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from it, since most of my experience with Miracast has been what’s been built into TVs, and those experiences haven’t been great. But the ScreenCast has been really quite good. Once setup, PC’s have no issues finding the ScreenCast and mirroring to it. Latency is typically good, but I’ve run into a coupe of glitches here and there, but nothing major.

    The ScreenCast also supports Apple’s AirPlay, and while it also works quite well, it isn’t as convenient as what an Apple TV can provide. The biggest stumbling block is that with an Apple TV, if setup properly, any Apple device in range can stream to it without having to be on the same WiFi network. With the ScreenCast, an Apple device must either be on the same WiFi network as the ScreenCast, or connected directly to the ScreenCast’s WiFi network in order to stream to it (PC’s can stream to it without having to be on the same WiFi network). This isn’t a deal breaker by any means, and for the vast majority of people it probably doesn’t matter, but just something to be aware of.

    Finally, it also supports Google Cast, and it works just as well as any other Google Cast device – which is to say not great. Casting a browser tab or a Youtube video works just fine, but mirroring the entire screen of a computer is not great. It’s good in a pinch, if the computer you’re using doesn’t support Miracast or AirPlay, but otherwise it’s not even worth turning that capability on (and it’s telling, that out of the box, Google Cast isn’t even enabled).

    This thing didn’t really work at all for my intended use case (hooking up to a projector to remote connect devices.) It was laggy and choppy and ultimately just didn’t cut it. I returned it within a few days of purchase.

    LOVE this little inexpensive piece of technology. For years my father and I have been searching for something that would allow us to watch our TV streaming channels and movies downloaded on tablet/phone. As long as the TV you are watching has a HDMI connection. You are GOLDEN. Easy to setup, easy to use.
