I have been using this in my car for over almost 2 years. It works. The reason It is getting 3 stars is because when you charge it, it makes an extremely annoying beeping sound that you can hear while listening to music.

I have a 2010 Honda Accord and need something like this device to listen to Bluetooth music. The battery life is probably four hours and it seems like the cord has a short because it has to sit perfectly for it to work on all speakers. So that’s a pain and the reason for two stars. A battery level guage would have been useful.

2 years after purchase I’m writing this review and I still have this button bluetooth adapter. I like to connect my phone to my car for music only – not for calls or texts. My car’s bluetooth capabilities are only for calls. This button allows me to connect for media – just as I like it.
The ONLY downside, which is actually just a minor inconvience is that it will not power on while charging. I have to unplug the charging cable, power it on, then plug to cable back in (while turned on) if I want to charge it while using it.
It holds a decent charge, so once I do that and charge it up on the trip Im on – its not really an issue again for a while – just minor inconvience to plug/unplug/re-plug if it’s completely dead and I want to listen to music.

Exactly what I was looking for! On my 2011 Road Glide with stock head unit. Fit snug in the auxiliary port. Very simple device and very pleased for the money. No wires hanging out or cords to deal with.

Only complaint is I have to unplug it to turn it on, but once it’s on it will work while charging. Otherwise very convenient for an older car with just an aux cord, especially since many phones don’t have an aux output anymore!

Enabled use of phone to play music in my car after upgrading phones and not having a 3.5mm audio port on phone. Only gripe was not being able to turn it on whilst charging and would have to unplug turn it on then plug it back in.

Tje sound quality is fantastic. Battery life could be better but it’s usable. The problem with this item is that you cannot activate the Bluetooth receiver while the unit is plugged into the power adapter. Very annoying to have to disconnect the unit from the aux port on the radio, unplug the power, activate the Bluetooth, connect your phone, plug the power back in and plug the unit back into the aux port of the radio every single time you want to use it. Basically, you have to charge the unit and use it wirelessly and charge it at another time.

They do what they say they do. They connect to your phone and play audio when plugged into an AUX port. But they’re not that convenient. They won’t turn on if the charging cable is plugged in, which seems like an oversight. So I unplug mine, turn it on, and plug it back in, because I don’t see why I would ever NOT want it to be charging.
It’s not that convenient for a car, either. With some car audio solutions, you can just turn off the car and get out. But this adapter remains powered on, so it stays connected to your phone even if you walk into your house. That means you have to turn it On and Off whenever you get in or out of your car.
I also thought it would be more convenient for a road trip, with more than one device being connected to it. But there isn’t a simple way to put the adapter into pairing mode again after it’s been connected to a device, and the big Bluetooth button doesn’t do anything while it’s connected. The only solution is to disable Bluetooth on one device and then manually pair the other. If you want to switch back, you have to do the same in reverse. I have a speaker that lets many devices connect, but this adapter doesn’t do that.
All that said, when it works, it works. The audio quality is good.

Like this for use in car. Problem is that it needs shutting off (powering down) and though disconnects (ends bluetooth) when source stops, it remains on and needs a special power down pressing (info not included in the package) to power off. Otherwise, very pleased.
