    It’s possible that the Core i5 12600K, with its six performance cores and four energy-efficient cores, will emerge as the most cost-effective ($289) and extremely well-performing processor in the Alder Lake series. It has a high level of performance, which is tied to DDR5 memory and a PCIe Gen 5.0 x16 lane interface. In contrast to AMD’s products and Intel’s Sapphire Rapids server processors, Alder Lake is a monolithic chip with no separated components. As a result, the large and small cores are both located on the same chip. Generally speaking, Alder Lake should result in an IPC improvement of approximately 19 percent, comparable to Skylake’s relocation to Sunny Cove.

    No complaints with this CPU I use it for playing games and it runs all of them good just want to be careful on what GPU you pair with this CPU for you don’t bottleneck it, but other than that it’s great.

    i5-12600kf is very efficient Price/Preformance wise, but doesn’t have integrated graphics which could be annoying when trying to diagnose issues. It’s also superseded by the i5-14600kf and i5-13600kf, but the i5-12600kf is $100 cheaper than both whilst being only 12% worse

    Nice CPU. This replaces my old 4790K pc, and what an amazing difference and a pleasant surprise performance-wise! It runs cool (64 degrees) during stress tests and gaming, and it is stable to 5.1 GHz. Haven’t tried to push it, but have little doubt there is sufficient headroom to OC further. This has turned out to be an outstanding CPU. I recommend this CPU to anyone interested in a low-cost, low-heat, and stable performance.

    A very good CPU for most things. I bought this for my wife’s build almost a year ago. She games with it and it just about keeps up with my 12900k There is very little different on most games. Really good CPU for the price and it does everything you need it to do without bogging down.

    Outstanding performance for a midfield Processor. Handles everything I built the system for with plenty of life. Low heat range with plenty of room for upgrading. Hopefully I’ll get another 8 years out of this chip like I did my last Intel i7-4790k.
