    The product resembles its description and is of good quality. The braided wires fold in well reducing (faster) wear and tear of the cable.

    The Insignia male USB-C to female USB-A Adapter works very well. The product is a USB 3.0 device. It is not directly stated on the packaging but it does show the transfer rate which is 5 Gbps. It is a shame that a product manufactured in 2021 (according to the packaging) is using USB 3.0 which was publicly available since 2008.

    I have used this device on a smartphone utlizing Android 11. I have connected a wired gaming controller to use for emulation on Android, a wireless keyboard and mouse combination connected via a bluetooth dongle, a flash drive, and a wired keyboard. All of these devices have worked flawlessly.

    I purchased this item as new but there was evidence that the item was returned. I think it is a deceptive business practice to sell a used and/or returned item as a brand new item. I purchased a NEW adapter and that is what I should have received.

    I bought this cable for transfering cell phone data between 2 identical ‘Moto 5 G 128 GB phnes”. The phone receivin the data (the new phone) did not recognize a USB – C cable for data transfer.

    It connected to my MacBook Pro so I could print off line but I didn’t know that Apple took that feature away on the new pros. Don’t buy it. You can’t print offline now

    Just got a new iMac Desktop M3 for work, and unfortunately, there are no usb ports in the back. I was able to use this so that I could connect my printer to my computer. It works perfectly! Would definitely purchase again if I need to!

    What can I say??? It’s an adapter cable that allows you to use a USB-C port, with a USB 3.x device (backward compatible as well). Treated properly, you should NEVER have to replace it!
