    Depends on how you plan to use these. Dolby Atmos content is not delivered through optical connections so that is a big problem for me. If you are using the RCA inputs the headphones work great. No HDMI.

    Have a hearing problem, also have a local cable company, have home theater, but was had to turn the volume way up to hear. Geek squad hooked my original wireless headphones to the cable box and was able to use the volume control on them (cable channels) to remedy that concern. Since purchasing a smart tv, the original headphones would not work with the WIFI setup and had to use satellite speakers to hear the programs. I went to local BESTBUY, purchased these phones with HDMI hookup recommended, now able to watch programs via the internet with no problems at all.

    Great for my 97 year old mother who is hard of hearing. She can raise the volume on the headphones, with no sound in the room, and more peace for her family.

    Great product! Purchased as a gift for my hard-of-hearing Mom in assisted living whose roommate keeps her TV volume too high, drowning out whatever Mom wants to watch. TV headphones were easy to set up and easy to use, and Mom can easily wear right over her hearing aids. Exactly what she needed!

    I am loving that I purchased these for my husband. He loves them. I also love them. Now as I work remote from home I dont hear the TV and get my job done. He uses them to blue tooth to his TV. What a remarkable purchase and idea this was. I cant tell you how this has reduced so much anxiety while I am working. I would suggest any one working remote and have other people in your home to get these. They work and also have great sound.

    Not really what was lead to believe when purchased. Have a person who is hard of hearing, making it hard for others when watching TV. If unit is plugged at TV it takes away the sound. If plugged into cable box, the person with headphones gets an echo sound from TV volume. For our purpose could not recommend.

    I had high hopes to be able to watch TV without disturbing my spouse. I can’t seem to get the headphones to connect. I read through the instructions and it still won’t work.
    Disappointing. I hope to be able to troubleshoot this issue.

    We have bought 2 sets of headphones for the tv. This brand and another brand. One for my husband and one for my mom. Life is wonderful when you don’t lose your hearing because your family is deaf and can’t hear the tv at a normal volume. We will never be without these. They work great!

    Still problems after five weeks. The first unit I bought had a damaged optical input. I exchanged it. I could not figure out how to connect it. The Geek Squad came out and got it set up and working. I pressed an off button and now can’t get it on again.
