    For a product that is $40 it is very limited. It works fairly well but it depends on the device that it connects to. If the input device sends a picture resolution of 4K it has trouble downsizing, if it sends at 720p it can cause issues also. Up to 1080p is supported by the converter but the device you connect it to can have strange effects on the screen or edges. I wish that this device had S-video port. I also wish that it was bi-directional to support reversible connections. One other comment, it’s a very large adapter, it should be half the size and half the thickness to fit in smaller spaces. I hope the next revision will be usb-c powered.

    This adapter allowed an old tube TV to be connected to an Amazon Fire Tv. However with Christmas sales an LCD tv was only about twice the price of this adapter…

    So far so good, just what I needed to connect a new cable box to my current TV. New cable box only supports HDMI connection. Picture quality good, easy to hook up, instructions were clear.

    Worked well to bring my old tv back to life. I had gotten the HDMI inputs repaired twice and they went out again. Bought this product to connect RCA to a streaming device. Seemed to work well until the sound on the tv went out.

    I recently bought a beautiful old CRT TV for classic gaming. I wanted to connect my Roku, Digital Converter Box, and a PlayStation 3 via and HDMI switch. I was floored to see how clear the Composite 480i signal was from the down-conversion. I am impressed with how well the circuitry performed and am recommending it to anyone tinkering with an older TV. Best Buy hit is out of the park with this one!

    I tried to convert RCA signal to HDMI and it didn’t work. Had no need to use it in the other direction. Plus it is more expensive than others that will do this on Amazon
