Feels cheap. Never even used it. It’s sitting in my closet. I have an Incase cover on my Mac currently that I thought I would replace with this, but the incase brand is MUCH more premium feeling. This one is just flimsy plastic.

The matte finish on the case is nice and will help prevent it from showing a lot of scratches. It’s also made from hard plastic rather than any TPU or silicone so it won’t yellow. Only con which is the case with most laptop cases is that they tend to crack when/if you go to remove it from the laptop.

was looking for a cheaper case to have because I wasn’t sure if I’d use it all the time or not, this is a pretty good option. It’s definitely not the most solid case but certainly prevents scratches or minor dings. I don’t love that it seems like the frosted finish shows finger prints, but for the price, I’ll deal with it.

First of all, this is an incredible value for $14.99 (retail/online at time of purchase and review) that I don’t regret buying.
If you want a cheap, solid case for your MacBook this is a great option that still really lets the color come through, isn’t too thick, and is decently solid.
There are definitely detriments though. The biggest being that it’s prone to cracking on the corners VERY easily, I had this start happening around 6 months of ownership. Also definitely a fingerprint magnet, and liquid that gets on it may slightly stain the case.
But, nonetheless, I do recommend it.
I previously owned a brand-name competitor for my older model of rMBP which also did crack pretty easily, and that is partially just the nature of this, but the finish was much better. Depends on your value of a $15 vs $55 product.

Case is not great. The bottom portion does not snap on so in a bag will probably fall off. Not returning as I got it for only $4 on sale. The gas to go back to BB would cost more than the item itself at this point. Would recommend going with another if you are traveling a lot with it. If you just want one for in the house it could work I guess (if you get it for $4 like me)

The case loves to keep fingerprints on the inside, like it sucks the oil off your hand and will never come back out of it. If you buy this wear gloves when putting it on.

I picked this up on clearance because I wasn’t sure if I wanted a case on my new MacBook Pro. It seems to fit well enough and would protect it from minor bumps or bad handling. I don’t think it would hold up to drops onto hard surfaces. My biggest gripe is once it gets dirty, it’s practically impossible to clean and becomes translucent instead. For the price I paid, it’s good enough.
