    We had recently restored the default settings on Fire TV that we were using a 3rd party remite on since the original remote had failed last year. After restoring, the TV wants you to sync the remote, but the 3rd party remote wont work. I ordered this remote and turned the TV on with it and its skipped the remote setup and i was aw to complete the TV setup. TV is now back up and running and the 3rd party remote works again also.

    The Sales Rep wasnt helpful and gave us an ooen box item that in no way was compatible with the TV we bought it for. He looked up our TV purchase to verify the exact type and still sold us an incompatible remote. We are bringing it back but left for several weeks to see family.
    We pray we’ll be abke to replace for the right one or refunded.
