I purchased this in December and just finally got around to using it. The CD lid is difficult to open. I got to play one CD and half a cassette tape, with the radio plugged into an outlet, and it just stopped working. It’s like it loses power when you press play. A waste of $50.

Like many others, I purchased this when my Sony died primarily for cassettes. However, right out of the box, it played fine, then the power just shut off. It was very strange with a cassette because the button wasn’t even pushed in and the light was off. I checked the manual to see if there was some sort of auto-shut off but couldn’t find it. Then I was listening to music from my computer using the Audio In jack and the same thing just happened. Completely shut off. Each time I’ve used it, it has been plugged in. Doesn’t even have batteries in it. I was going to try to exchange it but based on the other reviews I guess I’ll just return it instead. Fortunately there is an extended return period after the holidays. For $60 I defnitely expected more. Not worth $25 if it doesn’t even stay on.

It’s hard to read the buttons. Each time i use the cd i have to refind my radio station again. Wished it could save it. Needs separate buttons to engage the CD radio and cassette. The buttons are also hard to press down.

For the price ($55) and features, it’s impossible to equal this value. My Granddaughter wanted a tape player for Christmas for old favorite cassette tapes she has. Don’t expect incredible loud performance, but it’s a very good buy.

Great little unit! I got this for my girlfriend so she could listen to her old Grateful Dead bootleg cassettes. Being able to connect to a Blue Tooth speaker has made it very easy for her to listen in every room in the house

Great sound and versatility for the price! Got it as a gift for my daughters dorm room. She loves picking up cassettes and CDs at the thrift stores, but then can Bluetooth Spotify as well. Not audiophile quality obviously but we were pleasantly surprised how it sounded.

This product has very poor sound quality. The radio, tape deck, and cd player all sound like you are listening to music inside a cavern. It’s hard to describe but the sound is strange. There’s no equalizer or separate treble and bass controls so there’s no way of modifying the sound to make it more pleasing. I’m very disappointed. A waste of money.

If you have some old cassette tapes or CDs this unit is just the fit. I was skeptical of how it would be but it sounds good picks up lots of FM broadcast channels if you unearth some old tapes it really does take you back in time. The price is fair as well I personally think at $59 its a bit high but if your a total tech member you get the two year warranty if your going to use it i say its worth it.
