    Really not what I needed for sound. When plugged into the Insignia TV, the TV’s speakers were turned off. I wanted them to stay on. Return for credit. NO Problem.

    Got a set of Bose Companion speakers for a steal, but didn’t have any means of playing music/media through them, so I was in a pinch and found this cable and it worked perfectly fine for my semi-mobile laptop setup. Also worked for me playing music through my phone.

    This is really the best and easiest way to reroute the audio from a large screen television into your existing stereo, which may produce much better sound. No need to splurge on a Sound Bar.
