I have three cats and one german shepherd husky mix and before getting this purifier my allergies were horrendous. The pet dandruff and just dust everywhere was killing me, but as soon as we put this in our bedroom there was a drastic change. This filter works really well. I’ve got it in my studio apartment thats about 410 sq ft. It really helps eliminate cooking smells and smoke, and I have noticed a sharp reduction in dust buildup on my surfaces. It’s very important that the filter output matches the size of the room.

This is a great little unit for air purification, especially if using in a very dusty environment or in the kitchen. I use it in the basement next to cat litter and turn it on high before hand and you can see if pull the dust away from the litter as it is being scooped. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that, while the highest fans speeds are good, the other fan speeds are not and don’t seem like they have enough power to circulate the air well. They may circulate a 500 sq Ft room in many hours. The air movement ability or rating this unit has is based on its highest fan speed, but it is much less effective at the lower speeds.

Runs rather quietly and cleans up the air in our living room quickly. The filter starts giving off a refrigerator like odor though only after a few days. The replacement filter is $60 and can only be bought from BestBuy. No generic replacements in the market, which is a big negative for me.

I purchased 1 on the deal of the day. Received and assembled as directed. Simple install. Turned it on and it does a great job filtering the air. Speeds 1,2 and 3 are quiet. 4 is very loud but tolerable but not for extended time periods. It does a great job moving air. On the aspects of filtration I give it a 5 star. The reason for my 3 star rating is that it puts out a smell. I have no clue if its the filter or the machine. I purchased 2 more for a total of 3 machines and all 3 have the same smell. I have tried fabric softener sheets on the side. Purfume sprayed on a paper towel. Nothing seems to kick the smell.

I have been dealing with dust from my three cat’s litter boxs for years now. The thought occurred to me to purchase a HIPPA compliant air filter to see if that would help. The the difference was almost immediate. I don’t have to blow my nose a gazillion times when I get up in the morning and I no longer see dust in the air when the sun shines in their room. I have it set to Automatic and can hear it rev up when the litter boxes are used. Exactly what I was looking for!

It absolutely improves air quality like the product suggests. I bought it mistakenly believing there was a pet odor in my apartment but it was an unknown mold issue. Although it wasn’t specifically for mold, I believe it saved me from getting sick from the long term exposure. It also works especially great if your kitchen gets smoky while cooking or frying.

It works as it should. I use it mostly in the kitchen and living room area. I set it to auto on. And when the quality of the air changes the unit turn on and air is cleaned in minutes. Only thing is the filter has to be changed every couple of months.. There’s a blinking light that let’s you it’s time to change the filter.
