    We have a bedroom for a teenager who keeps their door closed all the time. This A/C picked up beautifully when the new home A/C could not. Then remote is super convenient and the vent slider worked perfectly so nothing sticks outside of the window pane. The perfect solution to cool one room. Electric bill impact was minimal.

    Bought this to beat the heat during quarantine, and it was the best thing ever! Window mount has a good amount of length reach any window, and the adjustable window attachment was very easy to install. Cools down any room surprisingly quick not too loud either.

    Had an LG portable and a Black and Decker unit although the B&D didn’t last long I was worried the Insignia would also breakdown since it was inexpensive. I was wrong used this all summer running almost 24/7 I would say it was more than I expected cooling the room and I hope next year it performs the same.

    Writing this review after 3 months of ownership. It’s still working and going strong! There is a section of our home that is a converted sunroom and the roof is aluminum in this area. Our home gets really hot because of this and our AC can’t keep up with cooling the house with the all the heat coming in during the summer. Bought this unit and It maintain the hot area really well! This unit + our AC helped keep our home cool through the summer. Other times we just run this unit for a couple of hours and don’t need to run the A/C at all in our home. Only 4 stars because it is pretty loud but I think all units no matter what brand are going to be pretty loud.

    Very useful but difficult to keep after summer. It takes a lot of space and you will need a professional to take the big pipes out of the window .

    It does the job to a degree. I feel even in my small one bedroom apartment it doesn’t really fill the whole living room, which is 90% of the apartment. It’s a nice size and love how it can move easily but honestly doesn’t really give all the fresh air you’d expect.
