    Got a new desk set up and I needed to hook up my switch & PS5 to the TV I bought. The employees had this ready to go and it was so easy to set up. Just plug and play.

    I needed to consolidate a rats nest of cables. This is perfect. I plugged the cable TV receiver, DVD player, and Xbox in to it, and one cord going to the TV. Simple to use and cleaned up the wall appearance considerably.

    This worked fine for my purpose, I like to have certain groups of inputs separated on my TV setup, so this one includes a DVD/Blu Ray, a Region 2 DVD player and a no region DVD player to separate them from the other systems I have connected to this television.

    Had this thing for a few years at this point, and it still works to this day. It will give you the occasional issue when you first turn it on, but always works on all inputs.

    I have a wall mounted TV and wanted to hide the wires, but it is tough to do when you have 3 HDMI devices as the channel in the wall is small. I bough this and then I only needed 1 HDMI in the wall as the three devices plug into the back of this. Super easy to connect and change devices just by clicking the button on top. With that said, it can’t cost more than $1 to manufacture this thing. Should be a $19.99 item, and even at that price, the manufacturer and retailer could make good money.

    One star because it doesn’t even come with an HDMI cable to go from the TV to the switcher. It’s too expensive to not come with that, and it’s unusable without it. Devices are supposed to come with cables. TVs don’t come with an HDMI cable.

    The Insignia 3-Port HDMI Switch works as advertised. This is a very simple way to expand the amount of HDMI switches on a device. Hook-up and operation is easy – no fuss. Something I would add as an improvement is a remote. It doesn’t come with one so you have to manually switch between ports, so you have to ensure placement of the switch leaves it easily accessible. It doesn’t appear that you can add the device to an existing remote. Picture quality is not sacrificed – even in 4k, so that’s a definite plus.

    Overall good value for the money.

    The Insigma report HDMI switch box has been an all-around great purchase. It is easy to use sleek looking and has high video resolution output. We are very happy with this product as we use it to switch from PC to Xbox and PlayStation. Easy to use one button to switch from each port.

    I bought this because our TV has only two HDMI ports, and we have a DVR, a Blu-ray player, and a Roku box. We’ve had HDMI ports go out on several other TVs, so I didn’t want to be pushing and pulling out cords. I took another reviewer’s suggestion about using the USB port on the back of the TV to power this, and it works great. The lights aren’t annoying to me – if they were, I’d use a removable adhesive tape to attach it to the back of the TV. And yeah, it would be nice if this switch had a remote, but getting up and pushing a button is easy enough. This works great and does exactly what it needs to do: switch between our different devices.

    This splitter dosen’t work.I tried every thing I could . I even bought a double HDMI connector to see if I could it to work that way.

    It was an open box item which I didn’t notice until I got it home.
