    Love this trash can. It’s nice not touching it and there’s a ring that holds the trash bag in place and I’ve used it for 4 months already and haven’t begged to change the batteries in it yet.

    This is a great no hands needed trash can. It is sensitive if, you walk too close to it, it will open also.

    We purchased this last year just after Thanksgiving 2022 and still have zero regrets! I love this model… full 13 gallon capacity and looks stylish.. easy to wipe down and clean since the trash bag stays securely in place without slipping under the top lid which keeps the inside spotless. I only need to clean the removable lid with a quick damp paper towel wipe down when changing out the trash bags. My favorite feature is the ability to keep it open when preparing meals or during cleanup really saves time and the battery. I use lemon scented bags and with the cover down most of the day we never smell anything unpleasant nor neeed the see the trash inside. Keeps the kitchen looking nice and smelling clean. I’ve owned many covered and/or automatic trash cans (too many) and this one is hands down the very best one I’ve ever used and is holding up very well… almost a full year later it still looks and works exactly like it did when it was brand new … it’s been just perfect in my opinion!

    Didn’t last long. At first, it worked perfectly. Then it stopped opening automatically. Not a battery issue, but a mechanical issue. Look at other well-known brands.

    Clean and great stainless steel finish. It is easy to clean and allows the removal of the trash. The outer ring allows you to hide the trash bag top end so it doesn’t stick out. Smart sensir works great and so far no issue. All in all a great product for it purpose.

    This item was convenient in size, i wanted for a specific area in kitchen . Automatic cover is slow to open even with brand new batteries. The button has to be pressed hard. Just an ok garbage can.

    Waited several months before reviewing. I was apprehensive spending more on a trash can than I normally would, but I’m spoiled at this point. After several months of use, it’s still on the first set of batteries, and my wife and I have both been guilty on multiple occasions of goig to another trash can (bathroom at our house) and trash cans at others places only to catch ourselves holding trash just above it waiting for them to open as if we’re waiting on a butler to assist us. Haha.
    It sometimes opens for me when I simply get to close to it as though it can’t wait to be at my beck and call. Now that’s service.

    I had another brand and my family killed it in a few months. But this one has already surpassed my expectations 2 yrs after purchase. Sensor is responsive. Fingerprint proof stainless steel. Holds 13 gallon garage bag. I would recommend.

    I bought this for my grandparents because they host a lot to help minimize the spread of germs. It still works like new after a year of use and hardly ever needs the batteries changed! Easy to take apart to clean and holds the bag in nicely under the lid.

    Bought this trash can a little over 6 months ago and haven’t had any issues. Actually still on the same batteries since it was unboxed. I like that the garbage bag goes around the plastic ring then tucks inside the can so you can’t see it, i saw a few reviews that were not doing it properly. The sensor is pretty sensitive sonif its close to a high traffic area it will open everytime you walk by it. Just something to keep in mind. I recommend this trash can and as mentioned ours works great.

    First problem was the batteries in the back wouldnt stay put and i ended up having to put a piece of paper rolled up to hold them into place to keep the lid working. Then not even 1 year later i had to toss the can and the lid because it just refused to work anymore. Spend a bit more and get a better built one you’ll be happier …

    I came from a family who liked to use those tiny trash cans. It was a cost saver but when i upgraded to this trashcan it made garbage disposall easier, no damage to bags holds the odors in. Automatic lid, couldnt ask for anything more. Thank you best buy!

    I’ve had mine since June 2022. The convenience of a motion activated lid makes this by far one of the best items I’ve purchased over the years. The lid opens quickly and with very little motion. I’m on the same set of batteries since my initial purchase.

    I got it when it was on sale for $40. Plus I had some Best Buy rewards that lowered my actual out of pocket cost.

    The volume is just over 13 gallons. This allows you to fill the bag completely in between removal. The lid keeps odors in and the lids easy to clean.
