    All the essentials in the case. You can’t lose any of the bits if you tried. Perfect for laptop, computer repair! Wouldn’t be caught without it. iFixit rocks!

    I bought this to install a new SSD in my laptop. It had essentially all the tools i required. All the bits are magnetic, which is always great to have. The packaging is super good too. Plus this isn’t that expensive compared to other large ones.

    I was trained that magnetic tools will damage motherboards and other sensitive hardware so I am a bit confused as to why this tech kit has a magnetic screw driver set…

    I’m using this as a travel repair kit. I’m away from home and my laptops RAM died. I used this kit to open and replace the RAM. I like that the cap is magnetic and that it has several different little areas where I can place different sized screws and they won’t mingle. Everything looks to be good quality as well. I don’t feel like it’s going to break in my luggage. I did however keep the paper to make sure it doesn’t open in my bag if it gets too jostled around.

    I really just needed one of the very small Phillips screwdrivers so paying more than $20 for the kit was tough — especially when I found the small screwdriver kit at home several weeks later. Oh, well. There were lots of interesting “tools” in the case. I may use several of them through the years but will store it somewhere easy to locate when special small, magnetized tools are needed. The MAGNATIZED screwdriver was VERY GOOD to use.

    First time laptop users should use this kit. Its got everything you need. I worried it wouldnt have the screws required for my new laptop but it did. It has a wide variety of screw heads for different occasions. And it has things you can use for nudging, pulling and getting in between those hard to reach places, and the best part, not all tools are made of metal so there’s very low chance of them breaking anything important.

    It’s a terrific little kit, but b/c the price seems high I took off a star. It is a quality set and had everything I needed to open my laptop and remove and reinstall components in order to clean up after a sticky spill. I’ve seen other reviews disparage its quality due to the weakness of the opener (small blue prying tool), but I think that’s by design so as to not destroy a case while prying it open. I do think it would be cool to include more than one, however. It’s a cheap disposable tool, literally a $1.99 at this writing. After opening my laptop 2x not sure it could open it a 3rd time. Feels a little wrong to maybe have to spend more money, even 1.99, to use the set a 3rd time if the need arises.

    Worked for me I am not a tool person but everything it came with helped me add ssd rgb lights heat sink and will be using it to take apart an old laptop.

    Had everything I needed to replace the screen on an otherwise perfectly good Apple MB Air (which surprisingly really wasn’t that hard for a beginner). Comes in a decent case so nothing will get lost. Recommend for anyone that does occasional computer repair. Saved me $100’s compared to the price I was quoted at various repair places.
