    This was recommended for my Toyota FJ Cruiser. The problem comes from the fact, it’s not proprietary for my FJ. Because of that, the view is obstructed by the spare tire.
    This will not work correctly on the FJ Cruiser. Maybe for the fact that it said “Jeep” on the box, that should have been my first clue. Overall, very unpleasant experience. Next time I will go to an auto electronics specialist.

    You can’t tell how close anything is. You can see the spare tire rim of the Jeep. I’d return it if I knew how to get it off my car. Not to mention I paid $139 to have it installed on the same day as the free install of my head unit so I paid them so much to do so little since it was already apart.

    Over all the camera is very poor. I’m currently looking for a new one.

    This bracket works well on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. You need to make sure your installer mounts this behind your spare tire or you’ll have a problem when it is time to remove your spare tire for tire rotations.

    It was a little hard to get the camera in the camera holder, but once we did it does the job. Nice and sturdy and picture is clear.

    Researching why the picture is poor and why there are no lines. I will update review if I determine this is an install flaw versus a product flaw. But the picture isn’t great and there are no parking lines. I currently would like to remove and return it.

    The cam initially chosen and purchased was discarded and was told it would not fit the model of my Jeep. Then after the made for my Jeep arrived, it couldn’t be installed for the make of my Jeep even though I was told that is what I needed by Koby, I was told it would not fit, so the initial cam ordered is the one Koby ended up installing. I feel I was mislead, Koby didn’t know the best item for my vehicle, my time going back and forth, to end up with the same item ordered. Then sent back the steering wheel controls, could not be installed after being told it could be installed, its like a lot of unnecessary going back and forth, and lack of Knowledge thereof to know what’s required, the frustrations of my Jeep installations, I want what I ordered and was told to fit my Jeep, I purchased everything needed at BestBuy, under the impression I would have what I was told when I was given the turn around and back and forth. I want everything installed on my Jeep that I purchased initially, as every part was designed for my Jeep, make, model and year.

    Had it installed at my local Best Buy.
    The backup cam was great at first, it worked great, didnt stick out, good quality.
    Then, less than 2 years latter it stops worlking. I take it in to Best Buy for the warranty check, they find that the camera went bad.
    The reason it went bad is the design allows water to pool behind the camera as it drips down the pipe…then it sits.
    Dust, grime, dirt, salt, mix with the water and corrode the tube and eat through the camera. It is a bad design.
    Unfortunately there are not many good options for us Wrangler owners. This camera is great (with some modifications at install)

    INSTALL MODIFICATIONS: After running wire frim camera up pipe and seating it in, take somr sort of weatherproof silicone and seal the open end. If you do this you wont have the same issue

    Bought this for my girlfriends 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Pretty clear picture. Only problem with it is that it doesn’t have the lines that most cars that come with backup cameras have but that’s not a big deal either.

    Next spring I plan to alter the bracket for a better fit.
    the grid lines and hard to adjust and they don’t move like the factory camera that would come on a new Jeep.
