I am a ver fan of HP calculators, the prime it gets stuck very often, I have to reset the calculator very often with paper clip, do not buy it

Good. . . B. …. …. …

It is approved for use at most universities, and it was prob way over kill for Math 054. But I think that it was good practice getting to use it.
Isadore –
The gold standard in graphic calculators, does everything.
Happy –
This item is for my grandson. He stated he is happy with this
shalawala –
Great calculator, touch screen, I will say it is complicated to use.
Sunny –
Good touch screen, Fast calculation, Good button feedback and robust design.
CalcNerd –
Big learning curve if you want to do anything beyond graph functions in one (or two) variables
Dave –
Compared to old HP 48g, easier to use for formulas but more difficult for trigonometry functions. The basic screen font is small. The cover is easy to put on, difficult to remove.
Still, it does it’s job amazingly well even though it may be harder and less intuitive to learn the function.
Greatblender –
Excellent advanced scientific graphical calculator. The is the perfect companion for college. The quality and price is unbeatable.
Calculator –
Very happy, works great, easy to use, I would recommend
hpPrime –
Works better than any other TI calculator that I have

It takes some time to read and learn the functions but it worth the trouble. The large keys make operation easy for people with big thumbs. The screen is large enough to display almost anything. Best for university students or professionals. Sometimes confusing to work through the menus or keys with multiple functions.
I would recommend.

Very powerful calculator with a bright screen, touch capabilities, and a whole lot of other functions. Coming from a TI-83, I had a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but it worked out great for me in Engineering Grad School so I’m happy with it.
Randy –
Coming from a seemingly obsolete TI-84, this graphing calculator is spectacular. Backlit touchscreen, very quick computations, beautiful design. Average use results in needing to be charged roughly once every month. I chose this over the new Texas Instruments because I have no need for oversized alphabetical buttons.
Reynoldsgal –
My child needed this for college math. Works great and easy to use
Bella –
Home screen had error. Could not change date and time because of poor software menu. No software and update and support available
Whearson65 –
Broke the first time I tried to charge it up. Real piece of ****. Very disappointed in an HP product.

My boys love this calculator! It is more precise according to them. Second one!!!
Ahmed –
This calculator is one of the top tools for accurate graphical and algebraic calculations. It has features that can’t be found in others.
Bumpa –
Simply the best hand-held calculator on the market. I’ve owned one for some time. Bought this one for my grandson who will be an engineer. While he was here he kept experimenting with it, showing me the new functions he had discovered. He isn’t that much of a geek. This calculator will serve him well.
Corbin –
This is my favorite graphing calculator. You can switch between polar and cartesian with ease.
SerDannoRanAway –
My wife bought this for her business degree program. Easier to use than my TI. She far prefers this one.
sg808 –
This calculator is definately worth it. It does the job and is easy to use
nuko –
amazing calculator, much better the the TI nspire cas cx ones
Awesome –
Excellent calculator for college level math courses
Campy –
I am an adjunct college math instructor with 20+ years teaching and tutoring experience. I would highly recommend this calculator for anyone in the STEM fields.

I’ll confess, I use almost none of the fancier features of this calculator. But for basic arithmetic, RPN with a visible stack is the best thing ever, and this is the only calculator on the market that offers it. The screen is great, not issues with the keyboard. I’d rather USB-C to micro-USB, but this is a small thing.
TigerDaddy –
Great calculator for a High schooler.
My daughter is happy with her calculator.
Reliable –
in a bind, my son needed this specific calculator to take a HS placement test. BestBuy always guaranteed to have what we need.
ProGamer –
This is a great calculator! You won’t regret this purchase!
nhyman –
I needed to complete calculus BC in a very short period of time and this has all the capability and more that I needed. Easily the best calculator I have ever used by far.
Luna –
best graphing calculator for engineering students. not too complicated to get the hang of.
Gymrat –
awesome graphic calculator its a bit of a learning curve once you have it you won’t go to TI
chansgt –
Great college level calculator. Has a steeper learning curve than its TI competitor, but once you learn how to use it effectively it is better.
Sebas –
this calculator can do it all, i use it as a electrical engineering student
ParentLaptop –
RPN was the reason I got this calculator, but falls short when programming functions to graph. I would easily spend the same money on a non-graphing HP 15C, if it was still available.
NA12 –
This calculator does the job very well. It is a powerful device with plenty of memory and powerful processor. The installed program is amazing.
MarC –
Great calculator! Does everything and more. The online program is great.
IPadAir –
This is s grest calculator, i just bought it but the screen is awesome and it does all your math
Awesome –
The best calculator ive ever had, especially live that its touch screen and has so many options and things to do. Definitely added warranty on this, worth every penny
Tweezak –
As a long time HP employee and ardent user of MANY HP calculators since 1984, I was really hoping this machine would be up to the excellent standards of HP devices of years past. Sadly, not so. If you are expecting RPN as you knew it on the HP 48 this does only half the job. RPN only works in numeric mode not in symbolic mode. Even the 48 can be programmed with ALG48, QPI, EQStk and other applications to turn it into a simultaneous equation symbolic powerhouse. The physical design of this calculator is poor, in my opinion. The printing of the alpha characters on the cases is very hard to read. The screen is not easy to see in many lighting conditions other than a darkened room. If you want a fast graphing calculator maybe this is for you but it is already getting dated and unless you simply must have a weak excuse for RPN input then I’d say this is a pass. A tragic end to a once great calculator line from a once great company.

I do not remember how long I bought this calculator. However, what I can tell you is that I have not had a big problem with that, yeah sometimes it could lag because of heat or other things that could have gone on. The thing is that it has worked well and efficiently for probably two years or more and when I got it I didn’t think it would be that worth it. But I have had a few scientific calculators that don’t last and I wanted a graphing one that was worth it, one of my friends recommended it, I bought it, and I am very much happy with all the settings since I can use it for higher level math that I am taking now in college. Very worth it

After being a dedicated ti user for decades, I decided to go with HP for my first CAS capable calculator. While I was worried about working around the interface, I was surprised to find that it is fairly intuitive and the touch screen is a godsend! Would definitely buy again.
Connor –
This calculator has been way better to me then the TI Nspire Cx2. It actually solves the problems almost the exact way they are worked out on paper and gives rhe proper units and everything. Makes the algebra far simpler then the Nspire with the variables and functins. Would recommend if you are willing to try it.
ChristopherJ –
The functionality is impressive. There are a number of features that makes calculations easier.
JohnEEstudentFresno –
Genuinely the goat calculator of all time. Changed the game for classes like microelectronics.
Nahh –
It’s actually a really good calculator, it has many functions and can link up to your computer. It might not fulfill all your needs in school depending on the subject, for calculus and heavy math-related subjects it does, for science, not so much. Make sure to keep it updated.
BennW –
Great calculator!! Been using HP over 40 years. The sales associate I had was most helpful and I got my new HP prime as represented, unlike Amazon!!!
Eric –
It’s a great calculator with wide range of versatility. The only con for this calculator in my opinion is lack of videos on it. Compared to other graphing calculators this doesn’t have many videos to help guide the user on how to better use the calculator. Though it’s still extremely good if your looking for a top of the line graphing calculator.
