    It’s ink. It does its job, and I like that it’s an extra black ink because that’s the printing I do most. But the price is way too high, like the price for so many other things. And a note about the question below about recommending this product. I would probably recommend Best Buy and say I get my ink cartridges there – but I couldn’t recommend this specific ink because I probably wouldn’t remember the number for it.

    HP Ink Cartridges are the only ones I use. The image is clear and the words never smudge. Works great for me.

    PERFECT PRINTING INK FOR MY HP PRINTER. AND IT LASTS A LONG TIME – DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU NEED IT FOR. PICTURES USE MORE INK AND I LIMIT IT FOR THAT – BUT OTHER COPIES ARE FINE.

    This OEM ink cartridge always performs best in the HP printer despite other random brands claims that they are just as good. If you want great results stick with the name brand.

    I am not happy with this purchase and printer. You have to purchase both the black ink and colored ink in order to print. I purchased jus the blank ink and I am still not able to print until I purchase the colored ink portion as well, even if you choose to print BLACK only…. I am going to purchase a different printer.

    The cartridge was empty. I was told to call HP support. Called and they said it wasn’t their problem it was Best Buys. HP support is a joke! After being passed back and forth, I bought the cartridge at another store. I was just out the money for the ink cartridge from BEST HA Buy because I opened the package and they wouldn’t take it back. Well the only way you can use it, is if you open it. Best Buy was not helpful.
