This is the second laptop I bought in the recent times!
Last year May (2022) I bought a laptop for my office. Since I like it I bought it again for my home use in November 2022. Till now both laptops are working just fine as they are brand new. They are fast and work with out any glitches! Really happy with touch screen. My daughter is 7 years old and she is comfortable with it. I’m happy with the price I paid for both of them!

Wish it had a backlit keyboard. I’m not having issues with my signing in, don’t know if it’s a windows update that did it or what but now takes me 10 minutes to get in after I reboot my computer. I’ve had it for 1 year.

Good laptop. Most apps useful. One regret is the color. The silver keyboard makes difficult to see keys in most daylight. Not enough contrast. Also, this model comes with Windows 11 in S mode pre installed. This system only allows you to download apps from Microsoft store. This is frustrating because I found the photo app it comes with very limited. And Microsoft does not offer one I like. So there are many common apps you cannot use. I had to eventually switch out of S mode. Not difficult but a bit of research involved to make that decision.

Very good laptop overall. I will preface by stating I bought open-box- lightly if ever used. I paid half the list price, making it an excellent value. I have had HP laptops for 10 years now, and they consistently outlive their obsolescence. Compared to my old Pavilion, this one does feel slightly less durable. I would have liked to have an aluminum casing and built-in camera cover, but you manage expectations at this price point. The actual specifications of the hardware make it a worthwhile purchase. As with almost all new laptops, there is pre-installed software that will never be used, but the task manager shows there is minimal impact on resources. I will eventually do a clean install to make it feel less cluttered.

This is by far the worst laptop I have ever owned. It has not run for more than 2 months straight without requiring a fresh installation of windows. Every call to HP support resulted in nothing but pointing fingers at Microsoft. Now 2 weeks after the warranty period the memory controller failed. HP support had no solution other than to pay them $350 to attempt to fix the issue. After this experience I will never buy another HP product nor recommend them at work.
