    I have two of these. With the second one I accidentally started it up before the water had sat in it for at least five minutes to fill up the inner chamber —and it got a bad rubber burnt smell to it. That still hasn’t gone away. I use it as a back up now.

    The humidifier is for very small rooms. The product also didn’t work the best with keeping my game room from having humidity and i would still have static pick up on my couch and on my PC, which was frustrating.

    My dad was very sick of Covid when I originally bought this to help him while he was quarantining upstairs in his bedroom. I had never seen my dad so sick and I credit this machine to helping him, he said with it he felt he was able to breathe better I added vaporub liquid to the top area and that helped get into the air too. I haven’t used it since but I know if anytime gets sick again this will definitely help

    Worked ok but leaks everywhere and is difficult to clean. Have to keep in a plastic bin to protect my nightstand from further water damage. Used my protection plan to exchange for something better. Wouldnt buy again!

    I cleaned before first use as this isn’t my first humidifier, I’ve cleaned it many times and it still smells like burnt plastic every time so use it. Disappointing. It works but I try not to use too much because it really smells up my home

    Has a smaller footprint than my previous humidifier. Shuts off automatically when out of water. It does have a plastic smell on the first use, but afterwards no smell. No leaks, very quiet.

    The Honeywell HW845 looked to fit my modest 600 SF home needs, and it came with simple controls and operations, and no filter to rot out or change.

    By the end of one season, it would stop running (red light on) and then started to leak on the floor. I cleaned the scale off and inspected it again for a second season, but it lasted about an hour before leaking.

    When it works, it’s a great small humidifier with good tank capacity, but the reliability just isn’t there.

    Best thing about this is how easy it is to clean it. We just bought our second one to replace another humidifier that had mold all over it that was impssoble to clean. we’ve had such a great experience with this one, we bought it again!

    I read the reviews here including the one that said that when the water tank is half full the humidifier stops working and the red light goes on indicating there is no water left in the tank. Majority of the reviews were positive so I went and bought this humidifier 6 hours ago. It will be going back to the store tomorrow. After running it for 2 hours and there still being 75% water in the tank, the unit has stopped producing steam and the red light has turned on indicating the water tank is empty. Super disappointed. Save your money. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.
