I bought this so I would not have to pay someone to install a window unit. What a mistake!
This is extremely loud. It cools if you are within a five foot radius.
Installation was straightforward and easy.
I do not recommend unless you have no other choices.

Easy to unpack. Instructions were straightforward. The window kit worked as described. I needed some foam weatherstripping to get a good seal between the window frame and the window kit but that was not an issue. Cools very well.

Makes a high pitch noise and ac turns down at 65 degree not 61 and switches to low level from high Which wakes you up quit a bit. Older model kept going to 61 much better sleeping

Not too happy with this product.Asked for a new remote control The one with this thing does not work Asked will I have to drain water from the unit man told me no But I do. Not happy with it at all.

This is my second purchase of a Honeywell portable air conditioner. Last summer I bought a bigger unit for the main part of the house. It worked so well that I bought a smaller unit for my bedroom. I haven’t used this unit yet!

The product itself is good, but you need to try to minimize the distance of the hose or get one of those Insulated Covers because it emits heat as a heater would do, so it’s not very efficient and takes twice as long to cool down the room.

Fast delivery, looks and runs great, as advertised. This unit is fairly quiet and keeps our room so cold we have to turn it off at times. I bought this unit for our room because in the desert temps can reach approx 95-115 degrees farenheit, so it stays hot all night and we have to run the Ac mostly all day and night. Our electric bill usually runs approx $325-370 mo. So far with only running the Ac approx 7 hours during the day and off at night( just using the Portable in our room at night) we see a savings of roughly $60+. I would highly recommend.

This Honeywell air conditioner is not a good quality product! Honeywell HAD good products years ago. This machine was terrible from cooling to poor craftsmanship. RETURNED

After buying more than 5 units over recent years, this one turned out to be a great AC, that’s quiet and cools more sqft than advertised. One big plus is that the vents point/adjust better than most other AC models.
