I just upgraded with this kettle. My previous one lasted me about 15 years but didn’t do more than heat up water. This one heats water at different temperatures and for different types of teas. Also my old one was white plastic. This one is stainless steel and matches my appliances.

1st one didn’t work properly. Contacted Hamilton Beach, very, very rude. Was told warrenty expired 4 months prior to purchasing. Had to prove when we purchased, then to get a replacement we had to send a picture of the kettle with the cord cut and then they’d send a 2nd kettle….it didn’t work correctly either…we live in a high elevation, could that cause it?????Don’t know. What I do know is I will never buy a hamilton beach product again because of the rude customer service.
