    This is a great dehydrator. After reading reviews and comparing prices/ wattage/ functions, this is the one I went with and I could not be happier. It is very easy to operate, good size trays for holding a lot food and very easy to clean up. Being completely encased, the food dries in half of the time of my old dehydrator!! LOVE IT!!

    My dehydrator broke after speaking to the manufacturer I decided I will not go buy from that manufacturer again. I saw the reviews and pulled the plug. I use my dehydrator for chicken jerky for my dogs so about every two weeks I break out the machine. Works great and the built in timer is a plus.

    I was looking for a dehydrstor with enough power and in a rectangular shape (for easy storage). This one was exactly what I looked for. Also, I love Hamilton Beach brand. I used to sell some of their products and the customers were very pleased with them. So I gave this a Dehydrator a try. I made dehydrated fruits with it. I followed instructions that came with the machine. My family loved them. It made some noise but that was not too bad. I just put it in the room away from the living room. Sometime I left it in the kitchen and went to bed. In the morning, the dehydrated pineapple was done perfectly. It was very easy to use and very durable.

    This is a great product from Hamilton Beach. The size is perfect, square shape fits better on the counter top, 5 trays enough to dry lots of food, and dried food has a great quality from this device. This only issue for me is the fan’s noise, but I read most (if not all) dehydrators in the market are pretty loud.

    Dehydration units are spontaneous rare use items generally. And gives an appreciation of how expensive Jerky is.
    Unit performance is good. But it is a large device hard to find storage for, also the unit is easy to break think carefully if you have space.

    It’s a good dehydrator, especially at this price. I use it for drying herbs from my garden and there’s a learning curve to beat, even with the manual. But it’s worth the effort.

    I have had a few dehydrators in the past and this dehydrator is the best. It has a digital temperature adjustment and time. This option make dehydrating so much easier, especially when doing several different items at the same time. It is super quiet and I love that it comes with a tray for drying herbs and a tray for making fruit leathers/rolls. The price is also nearly half of some of the other digital food dehydrators with these options.

    I love this Food Dehydrator. I have used it several times drying Apples, pears, mushrooms, and mangos. Excellent product. Works great. If I want my apple slices crispy, I put them in the oven at the lowest temperature for about an hour. They are not leathery but crunchy.

    This is my first dehydrator so I may not be the best person to judge it but, anyway here goes: it heats up quickly: the fan could be a
    bit quieter: it’s easy clean up (big plus!) and you have to be careful
    about the slight gaps when loading the shelves and/ or putting on the lid. I’d buy it again.

    This worked great at first and we used it around 6 times. The most recent time it stopped blowing hot air and the screen showed an “er” message. Unfortunately the manual doesn’t address the error message and customer service is backlogged at Hamilton Beach. We’ll have to return it.

    Easy to use and dont take up much room.
    It does take 12 + hours to dehydrate bell pepper’s or apples.

    Food takes a lot longer to dehydrate than the instruction booklet states. The dehydrator is loud similar to a fan. Not sure this is worth the cost for electricity due to time. The picture of the bananas are after 3 days.
