    Purchased to replace older model which we loved. However, the “dispenser hole” is set to far back so 2 out of 3 times the coffee dribbles down either the back (even when the cup is held firmly against the back wall) or the side of the cup. poor design ( possibly because clock is on top instead of to the side) makes it messy to use. Also, no matter how you do the settings the coffee is only lukewarm.

    The plunger is stiff so you have to push your cup w/force then there’s a plastic bottom so it slides THEN its leaks everywhere….

    Only been using for 5 wks so far. Leaking is only a problem if one does not pay attention to the positioning of mug under dispenser. You can choose how many hrs to keep coffee warm (2,3,4 etc) but be sure to turn pot off if coffee level is low otherwise you scorch the hot plate inside the warming unit.

    I prob. wouldn’t recommend this to anyone….it’s just ok…it has some design flaws….although it does brew great coffee…and looks very sharp!

    Great coffeemaker! I got this for my dad and he loves it! He had the previous model and was very durable, especially considered he used it at least once a day. I hope this one is the same

    I like not having the carafe. Makes a good, strong “pot” of coffee. Easy enough to make 1 or 10 cups. Drips a bit when pouring the water but easy clean up.

    This coffee maker is a great cross between a single serve and a 12-cup coffee maker. You can make a full pot and serve it by the cup. The best part is the last cup does not taste burnt. Highly recommend it.

    I haven’t had a coffee maker in years. But I knew I didn’t want a kuerig. This unit is perfect for me. It’s easy to program and prep. My coffee stay warm and delicious from my morning cup to my late morning cup. I love the beverage dispenser functionality.

    Im not impressed by this coffeemaker. I bought this particular piece of equipment because of the features, well it may just be I received the faulty one of the bunch, mine has leaked since the day 1. I went out of town for 3 months and unfortunately my roommate never had the time to return it, but Im not at all happy about this item.

    This is our first coffee maker we have purchased that doesn’t have a glass carafe. It works perfectly with less mess. The coffee stays hot for up to four hours and the coffee doesn’t taste burnt. It’s a keeper!

    Purchased this coffee maker and it has lots of good features. Easy to program, makes good coffee, and keeps it hot. However, the dispenser leaks from the top down the front of the device, and to the drip pan at the bottom. Good thing it is there or the counter would get covered with coffee every time you filled up your cup.

    This is the second Hamilton Beach brew station and this one is better than the one I purchased over a year ago. Some of the reviews indicated leakage and have not experience any. I think a lot has to do with how you position your cup or mug when it dispenses coffee.

    I’ve had this brand and type of coffee maker for some time. It was time for a new one and purchased the newest version. Coffee makers are difficult to find right now for some reason! The one I got leaked and I had to return it. However, I purchased another and no issues. Just a fluke…

    This thing leaks coffee everywhere when dispensing to the cup. I am talking with Hamilton beach about the issue. We had no trouble with the first one we owned. I wish I could just return it. But they do not want me to do that. Hope it works out. We use it daily

    Returned it as it was defective. The water does not heat up to the coffee. I bought another one with the water reservoir on the side and it works. It took so long in Best Buy to get it so bought in another store

    It leaks from the fountain button. No matter what size cup I use or how long I keep the cup there after releasing the pressure/fountain button, I always have to grab a paper towel and wipe off the coffee maker as well as the little puddle that it makes on the kitchen counter.

    Also, you have to take it apart to put water in it That was a feature that I didnt like right out of the box. I was hoping to be able to flip the lid and add water and grounds, however, there is a 6-step “procedure” for brewing from start to finish.

    I purchased the BrewStation Summit Ultra 12 Cup Dispensing Coffee Maker this month, and have been using it continuously for the past 2 1/2 weeks. The reason I chose this unit was for the programmability, the absence of a glass carafe, and to avoid the wastefulness and lack of flavor I find in the pod-style brewers.

    I am 100% pleased with this unit. It’s a triple decker, in that the top is the coffee filter basket (flat bottom filters), under that is the reservoir for the brewed coffee, and the deepest part is for the water. I am 100% pleased with the temperature of the coffee and, even after 3-4 hours, does NOT taste burnt.

    For my purpose, which was to brew coffee in my upstairs quarters in a shared home, it has worked out perfectly. The flavor and strength of the brew is not as rich as a french press would provide, but not as desolate as a pod provides. It has a ‘1-4 cup’ setting, but I found not selecting it provides for richer flavor. It has saved me from having human interactions with other housemates before having coffee. Cheers!
