    Used it several times already. Cooked beef with high temperature for 4 hours and the beef tastes good, tender and good texture. It’s a bit big for me as the manufacturer recommends half full or three quarters full to get the best cooking result. So I mixed beef with potatoes, carrots and onions, all cut in one inch cubes roughly.

    Purchased this one for our son. I have two others exactly like this one. Like that it has timers to cook foods. The functioms are easy and great. The only negative is the outside needs a better quality body. Feels a little flimsy. BUT, the better quality ones available didnt have timers! After cooking time, it remains warm. Makes it easy to set before bed or on a trip to the store.

    Pros: Handles are nice and seem sturdy. The controls are easy to understand and work as they should. I especially like the auto warm function of the controls. It beats having to manually keep track of the time. The crock is finished nicely and is plenty thick enough to retain the heat as it should. The unit looks attractive sitting on the counter. The lid fits ok but I personally would like it to be a little tighter. However it is adequate for a slow cooker.
    Cons: The outside of the unit gets really really hot. Make sure nothing that can melt is close to it like a bread wrapper or plastic bowl etc. Also it has a very short cord so hopefully you have an electrical outlet where you want to sit it. I didn’t :- (

    So far I’ve used only the high setting, but it has worked very well for stew, chili, and roast with veggies. Some reviewers mentioned the outside surface gets hot. It does, but that’s not unusual for a slow cooker. I don’t love the controls, since it only shows hours left in even numbers, ie 2 hrs left, 4 hrs left, etc. Not a big problem though. It does swap to warm at the end of your selected low or high temp time setting. I’m happy with the performance.
