    Footstep does not require a lot of force to open. Slow close feature eliminates banging. Does have odor catcher too.

    Love the look, however the lid isn’t auctioned or heavy enough for my toddlers not to be able to open it, which I why I bought it. If this isn’t your need, the trash can us great! Holds in the smell and easy to switch out bags.
