    I use it inside my car for a mount (using my GoPro as a dashcam). It works really well. Feels sturdy, and stays up there, and if I need to use it for something else I can take it off and put it back on with little effort.

    Excellent accessory for GoPro. It allows you to be hands-free and it is adjustable to any size would recommend I purchased one and I don’t leave home without it when using my GoPro 11.

    You spend all the money just for the brand name — and then it works for a few minutes and falls off with a bump or a few too many minutes in the sun. Not my favorite product. It immediately went into yhe closet where it will likely sit for years until I forget how it did me wrong and try it all over again.

    Interesting design. You need to push the plunger knob down for the suction, and bring the lever in to lock em in place. The mount comes with different mounting accessories in the box. You can add different attachments and it is held inbplace by a bolt and screw.

    I’ve had Go Pros for more than a decade. I know how to use them. Yesterday, I got myself this Suction Cup Mount. I had the Hero 12 that I bought on Black Friday, and I was going to use it for the first time. The product says the top speed is 150mph. I was driving at 80 mph on the highway, and the Suction Cup suddenly detached from my car with the GoPro on it (after 5 minutes of using it). I did retrieve the GoPro after looking for it around the highway for a few hours. The Go Pro did have the protection case, but I didn’t save it. Here is the result. I cleaned the surface and read the manual on how to use it.

    I believe on the box it says it’s rated for over 100 miles an hour. Mine is falling off a couple times at Lucky moments where I could recover really have to slam it on there.

    When the need does arise it is easy to release the suction vacuum using the provided tab molded into the cup

    It doesn’t detach from my window when it’s cold outside!! Everything else I have tried fails when it’s cold outside and warm inside!

    This go pro mount is sturdy and reliable, you need to make sure you apply it properly. I put this on the inside drivers side window facing my windshield and it has held there ever since without me having to reapply it. I can trust to suction power on this unit.

    I bought this to capture some video from the top of my car while cruising around. I’ve tried 3rd party products I ordered online and the quality of the GoPro mount is a 10/10 compared to those. You can save some money by buying the cheap stuff, but it won’t last.

    Funny to read the negative reviews here and elsewhere, You have to lift the half ring around the center part, push it on HARD, and flip that lever down to create the suction that holds it down. It’s not going to work if you just push it on. Oh, and smooth surfaces ONLY. While it might hold on some lightly rough surfaces, it will not work on very rough surfaces as it needs the smooth surface to create the seal. There is a different company that uses attachment devices like these for car bike/ski/kayak racks!
