Coming from a Pixel 6 Pro, this wasn’t a revolutionary upgrade for me. However, the Pixel 7 Pro does fix a bunch of issues that plagued the first gen reboot making it a much more reliable and enjoyable experience.
+ better battery, will actually last me a full day with some to spare
+ brighter screen
+ better fingerprint reader. I actually lucked out (?) and never had any issue with the P6P’s FPR, but the P7P’s slightly faster and more responsive
+ very smooth OS, have yet to experience any lag
+ android 13 fixes
+ slightly better camera softwares (video recording is great, faster Night Sight capture, 5x optical zoom etc)
– super slipper glass back
– battery life still not on par with other top flagships
– 5x zoom, I think 4x is a more convenient focal length
– camera updates still behind other flagships, portrait mode is still terrible compared to iPhone (and even my old old Huawei P30 Pro), and cinematic mode is meh
As a phone, I think the Pixel 7 Pro is a fantastic purchase! However, if you’re chasing the best photo+video experience, go for an iPhone.

Love the phone. So much better than my LGV40, that was going on the fritz. Have been an android user for years and this is the best one yet. A few newer features to learn, but that’s not a bad thing! Great looking phone too.

This phone is just great. I was using the Galaxy Note 10+ for 3 years prior to this Pixel phone. Just watch some youtube reviews to see the great benefits of this Pixel. Personally I was worried about WiFi calling working with cheapo Cricket and I am happy to say it works fine. Also the 5G seems to work fine with Cricket. This modem seems to be just fine and I have no problems the Pixel 6 had sometimes. At least according to some youtube reviews. I have only had one update so far but as I stated this phone has been just great so far I am only about 25 days into ownership. Best buy has been fairly good so far too as far as returning my phone. It was processed for return already. I recieved my full Shipping this phone did suck however, It was shipped in a fairly large box almost the size of a shoebox and there was no packing material to soften it from banging around and thankfully it wasn’t damaged.

I’ve had many Pixel phones and this is by far the best one. I also have the Samsung Galaxy s22 Ultra, and my Pixel 7 has definitely better photo quality. But if you’re looking for better video, then I would suggest the Samsung.

Pixel 7 Pro. It keeps getting better with every Google feature drop. I have owned Google phones since the Nexus. Some have been better than others. This one seems pretty solid.
hndrckst –
Awesome phone. Really like the stock Android OS. Phone is larger than previous so it took some getting use to (not a knock on the device).

This Rating should be a 3.75, but it’s not a 4. While there are a lot of great features with this Phone, it still has lots of minor issues that make it frustrating. By “still” I mean I’ve had Pixel Phones since 3 and some things have not changed.
PROS: Camera especially the “Magic Eraser” and “Unblur”
Nice Bright Screen
Smooth Refresh Rate
“Now Playing”
Sound Quality for both Music and Calls
Battery Life for a Medium User is very good
CONS: Fingerprint Reader is actually worse than the 6
Phone Tones do not make sounds most of the time
Notifications do not alert on Phone when paired to the Pixel Watch
Fitbit App is VERY poor, it does not stay current with stats
Display Brightness will “Dim” on its own
“Double Tap” feature does work consistently
Cannot use the entire Home Screen because of the Static Date
Still like the Pixel more than other Phones, but these “Frustrating” issues keep it from being Superior.

It is an excellent cell phone, it is very worth it, I totally recommend this mobile
ElDorado –
great phone; nothing negative to say about this phone except maybe the fact that I am not very impressed with the location of the fingerprint sensor. Its a bit too high up on the screen.
EfromSV –
Great looking phone. Gets updates before any other Android phone. Extraordinarily well-built and customizable. Great sound and call quality. Definitely deserves the praise it’s getting! Camera is outstanding.
NaveenR –
Is this phone good for a thousand dollars? No way! Is it good for 700 bucks? No way! It is great for 700 bucks! Is it spectacular for $350 bucks – hell yeah! That is the price I paid when I exchanged my P6P.

Phones are great, experience was great with Best Buy through the online purchase and pick up. Only thing I am disappointed in was information on Google Pixel Pass. Nothing showed for this on the site as now I wish I could have purchased this or been given the opportunity. I tried to reach out online and got no where with it on Best Buy help center. Will try again or maybe someone could reach out from the review.

Love it…………………………………..?.

I went from pixel 2xl to this and I’m not impressed with the touch screen. It barely reads my finger print, always gets my swipe to text wrong or doesn’t read, and selecting emails gets confused with arguing them. I’ve tried both sensitivity modes and they both fail my expectations.
Nosferatu –
Had Pixel 6 Pro, upgraded my wife to this 7 Pro and grabbed an S23 Ultra for myself. Great evolution from 6 Pro.
Great phone but S23 better video (7 Pro better photos), charges slow, Tensor cannot keep up with Snapdragon Gen2. I use to like the less bloat of Nexus/Pixel and couldn’t stand Samsung however the S23 made me a convert. Fast and smooth.
Given price difference Pixel great deal.
Jigs –
Very slick phone w minimal bloatware.
High clarity very responsive screen.
Excellent camera.
The corners are a bit sharp. Looks good but hopefully does not drop and chip it.
AllanSuleiman –
Best cost-benefit Premium phone on the market.
Pixel imprived a Lot since the First one.

The reason why I stuck and chose to continue with a Pixel phone over another smart phone like Samsung or similar is…the Pixel just works! It covers all of my needs without the need for some whimsical marketing about having the fastest speed, biggest camera or shiniest phone. The phone holds itself well against other phone that cost hundreds of not several hundreds more than it. Most of us already have some sort of Google email, or using some form of service such as YouTube and etc. It only made sense to go with the Pixel and Google service and everything else was butter. The camera on Pixel has always for the most part been a winner in terms of the photos coming out well regardless of the lighting situation. That’s says a lot compared to other phone nes that struggles especially during the evening and late hours. Even with competitors gimmicky 200 megapixels camera…most reviews still reigns the Pixel as the clear winner overall. The biggest improvement overall has been the video department which I’m so happy to see and use. Pixel has been struggling for the past few Pixels with it’s video quality and ability and now…it’s near perfect for the average user during the day. I’ve made several video blogs and couldn’t find anything to complain about. We know that android comes from Google and Android in its purest form is basically what IOS is to Apple. The best part about Google Pixel is in its support! Any little updates and major updates, your phone usually gets them right away! Whereas with other competitors, they normally take weeks to several months if any and they always usually run another layer of their own on top of android this always needing those extra “ram” or memory for some of you. I’ve been using my Pixel 7 pro mainly for video editing and video creation on the go and it works in conjunction with my Insta 360 videos. If anything, I recommend at least a 256gb phone because these days. With a few apps, update and pictures/videos. Don’t be surprised if these things take up a good amount of space. I have a 256gb version and I have about 85gbs left. Wish I would’ve gone with the 513gb instead. Overall, if you aren’t too familiar with the layout, the phone take a little learning to understand but once you are good to go. You’re good to go. The phone does have features such as hints and tips which helps especially for new users who aren’t familiar with the phone features. I love “screen calling” which screens all unknown calls and display the voices via text live so you can intercept them or not. I usually only pick up when I know it’s someone I know, other than that…it’s usually spam and they disconnect right away. The other is instant message translate which I find helpful especially when communicating with other Spanish speakers. The phone instantly translate, I respond as usual and the phone automatically translate and replies without me going back and forth with copying, translating and sending. The last thing is the camera…I can not emphasize enough in how well the camera has come. I do a lot of photos and I can say they during the night especially landscape photos. They are sometimes breath taking and unbelievable as to how a phone cam capture such. If you’re on the fence, even the older cheaper Pixel 5 is astounding in photos as well. I would totally recommend the Pixel 5 if you’re on an absolute budget, the Pixel 7a if you’re on tight budget and the 7 for your everyday user. The Pixel 7 Pro….I don’t even use the zoom features much but since it’s a technically bigger phone. I chose to go with that and the bigger battery. Other than that, I would’ve gone with the regular Pixel instead.

Overall, I like this phone,.thought there are some cons. I love the camera SO much, though, when my battery is about 20% to 5% the service is almost.stictly off, on T-Movioe EDGE or rarely 4g. Not to say the service is bad, though its only when the batterys low. (i was getting 5G UC on my other phone in the same area)

Pros
1. Good camera, raw files aren’t that good though
2. Overall performance for day to day use
3. Pixel software goodies
Cons
1. Gets hot very quickly specially outside
2. Barely 1 day battery phone, battery life not that great
3. Curved screen, although it’s fine with a case on.

pixel 7 pro…best android device I’ve ever owned… they’ve fixed the fingerprint problem.. works perfectly now ..best camera I’ve ever used.

Pretty good phone for new commers. If you already have the 6 Pro, don’t upgrade. It’s basically the same phone but with refinement. It still suffers from thermal issues like heating, like the 6 Series.
Battery life also not that great. Usually lasts 4-5hrs of screen on time and the heat it produces is most likely what causes it.
Still, performance rivals that of Samsung and Apple. For the price, it’s a really good phone.

The Google Pixel 7 Pro is an impressive smartphone that showcases cutting-edge technology. The camera quality is outstanding, capturing stunning photos and videos with remarkable detail and vibrant colors. The display is crisp and vibrant, making media consumption a delight. The performance is top-notch, handling multitasking and demanding apps effortlessly. The battery life is impressive, lasting throughout the day with regular use. The sleek design and premium build quality add to the overall appeal of the device. With its advanced features and powerful performance, the Pixel 7 Pro is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-end smartphone experience.

Great phone , great price always loved native android experience without to much bloatware . If you want true android the way it was intended to be this should be your choice . After processing of ai on photos is great .
DieterM –
This pixel still gets hot, but besides that camera is excellent and the phone is smooth.
AkshaykumarD –
Amazing phone for the the price.
It’s a must buy for non apple users.
ErikP –
After a couple months with it, I’m pretty pleased. In particular, I love the camera and hope that Google will keep their recent promises of extending updates and security support for more than 2 years

Excellent phone, especially for the price point. No issues.

If you stuggling to capture your toddlers life momemts then pixel is the way.

I’m having a few issues, but a lot better than my S9
Googlenatic –
I am an absolute Googlephile. I have had every iteration since the Nexus days. They still have their bugs, but nothing beats the NON-BRANDED (NO VZ, ATT ,etc) unlocked phone experience. Unlock the bootloader, magisk for root, and do anything you want to it. Just the way a phone should be.
They seemed to fix some kinks with the Pixel 7 which was nice. I will be eager to see what lies in store next, and how the Fold turns out.
Raychell –
Love the phone just gets too overheated too often. Will be seeing if that can be fixed, otherwise I would give it 5 stars. Has great camera. Good sound.
Vk00 –

“Pixel 7 Pro: Stellar performance, superb camera.”
AbelT –
Very smooth phone. Love the feeling of the curved display with the back gestures, even if a curved display is impractical.
Solid camera. Good battery life with the update to Android 14
UCOhio –
Was very hesitant to purchase this phone, after months of research and comparing the Google 126mg won me overtime. I have had a Galaxy Note9+ which is just not up to par ,even with my childs kindle. . Glad I made the switch, still lots of things to get use to. Over all great pictures, 2 day battery life. I couldn’t ask for a better phone for the price. Love the Large ler screen as well.
Kruti –
Easy to use and an amazing color. Great for taking pictures.
