    My Google wi-fi mesh network has run without a hitch for several years now, and I bought this puck to extend my coverage. The product itself is great. My concern was the total disregard for packaging shown by BestBuy staff. I bought a refurbished unit. It arrived rattling around inside a larger, battered box with no padding. Not even some screwed up paper to cushion it during delivery. I was amazed it wasn’t broken. I will definitely think twice about buying from BestBuy again if this is how they treat their customers’ electronics.

    I originally got this item refurbished from Amazon. The first one they sent had no instructions & did not work. I returned for a replacement and the second one from Amazon also had no instructions & did not work.
    So I got one from Best Buy, then realized I needed a total of 3. After I got all 3, nearly all of my wifi connectivity issues are resolved. I gave it 4 stars because infrequently, a zoom call on share screen still locks up momentarily. Overall, would definitely recommend.

    We had to replace an old Google mesh wi-fi router that went bad, and this refurbished one saved us close to $40. There wasn’t any reason to be worried about scratches and scuffs because it’s located on a shelf that’s not seen by anyone. As it turned out, there were no scratches or imperfections at all. It did appear to be either used, a display model, or returned simply because it wasn’t neatly packed with all the things you’d expect, but that didn’t matter to me. It looks like it could be new, and it works great. I do wish they had removed the hair that was stuck to it in the area where cables plug into its underside, but for $40 savings I didn’t mind removing it myself. Anyway, I’ve got great internet at my pool patio again, and for a fraction of the price I was expecting. I highly recommend checking out the Best Buy Geek Squad refurbished options any time you’re buying electronics. We’ve never been disappointed, and the one time it didn’t work out – Best Buy made sure we were taken care of. Buy this with confidence and save some bucks.

    I now have perfect coverage throughout my home. I had three of this system in my house before and the reception was pretty good but not perfect now the system is functioning the way it was meant to. If I were to do it over I would not hesitate to buy this item again.

    This is a great option for expanding a wifi network in a living space. We have 4 wifi point through our 2,000 sq ft house and it allows us to a download speed of at least 50 mbps in every room in our house and in our backyard. I find the app easy to use in terms of running mesh and download/upload speed tests.
