This service was useful when landing at an international airport and had no means of talking to anyone. Guess what Google Fi was there.
Ajente007 –

ShanJ –
The Google Fi card can call 200 countries,I bought it and used it in Tahiti, it was working great, it is almost same reception as the local phone company

Id go back to google fi. I bought the cheapest pre paid sim card then immediately upgraded to the $60 plan. The speeds were actually pretty insane fast. Im currently using the 3 month mint mobile and im actually debating on switching back to google fi. I was in the middle of no where ans was getting 400mbps download 80mbps upload on a motorola edge 2022. Very impressive since spectrum doesnt go past 300mbps-350mbps download and is capped at 15mbps upload max on a lucky day using a cat8 ethernet cable.

Product is good, needed it in a pinch as my replacement phone came with no SIM card or eSIM capability. My new phone works great now! Thank you to the staff member who helped as I also didn’t have my new ID yet. Great experience was able to get necessary SIM card quickly and efficiently!

Google Fi is the best kept secret in US cellular service. They offer plans similar to other carriers with discounts for multiple phones for families. We have 4 phones (and yes we use iPhones with our Fi service) on a family plan. For the flat fee we each get 50GB of high speed data to use in the US and any other country we travel to without arbitrary roaming or hotspot limits and no extra fees. We also have Fi “data” sims that Google provides for free to use in our portable hotspots, iPads, and other devices, for no extra monthly fees. These data sims just attach to one of our phone plans and share the plan. Every other carrier charges $10-20/mo for each additional non-phone device. The only drawback at the moment is no support for smartwatches like Apple Watch.

Easy to sign up. Okay connection. Haven’t had much issue within my city.

Google Fi definitely has its perks. I switched before other companies started offering similar packages. I have enjoyed the other Google perks that come along with being a Google Fi member.
SatD –

Scarmayfall –
Might actually switch from Verizon to Google-Fi with having great coverage and a more affordable phone plan. 10/10 would recommend

This is the first time I had a SIM Card fail. It is great that Best Buy has them locally so I did not have to wait several days for it to be shipped to me.

I have a major problem with Fi customer service. I had been a Fi customer for years and have liked Fi until recently . A few months ago my phone – bought relatively recently from Fi and very expensive – would not make calls. A search of the internet indicated it was a software problem. I called custom service. They took some info and said they would forward the problem to tech support. Some time later I got an email asking for more data (without instructions on how to get the data). After more back and forth (over a long period) I got the data and sent it along. Then, some time later, I got an email with a request something to try; but, the instructions sent were incorrect. I managed to get the correct procedure from the internet and, unfortunately, the fix did not work. I sent the result and, after the result was sent back to tech support and they replied to the rep, was told the problem was in hardware. This may or may not be true as the same problem is a common (according to the net) and the solution is usually a software fix. So, I asked to speak directly with a knowledgeable person as this back and forth thru 3d parties and email was taking months and, perhaps, we could definitively diagnose the problem. This request was refused. I then cancelled my service. Then I was contacted as to why and, after telling hearing my story, was offered a refund (though they did not say how much) so I relented and bought a new phone from Fi. Then I was told my refund (not really a refund but a credit for future service) was $20. A refund of $20 for hundreds of dollars wasted on a phone and months of paying for nonexistent service was the last straw. Goodbye Fi.

The Google Fi service works well both in the US and overseas. The overseas rates have doubled over the years but it is still quite reasonable.
The start up process with the SIM on a new unlocked Samsung Galaxy A14 phone was somewhat time consuming, but did work OK eventually. Note that if you are not in a hurry like I was, Google will mail you a SIM for free. You can get credit for a retail SIM like this one, but only for a new line.
Price –
Good to use, has a good signal as well. Good to try it
TVWatcher –
I was glad it was available at BB, as I needed it immediatedly. A bit of pain to have to wait for Fi to credit my account fo cost. I was not very happy with Fi itself–not very good coverage, expensive for one user, overchaged and took 3 months to get that fixed.
RavinderJ –
I strongly don’t recommend to opt Google-FI.
Limited network coverage and bad voice quality. Always relies on WiFi and makes phone to keep looking for open WiFi networks, significantly draining battery.
Google-Fi= Free WiFi + Bad external network
Nate –
They fail to honor their own promotions, and have hidden fees.
Also way more expensive than comparative MVNOs, without providing anything that would make it worth.
ChiO –
Great purchase, and inexpensive. Still using mine to this day and GoogleFi network really comes in handy (plus you can pause and resume services whenever you want through).
VarunM –
The order was not delivered as per commitment and eventually I have to cancel the order
AsianGeekSquad –
Not useable. Attempted to activate eith Google fi. Card expired LAST YEAR!
Nikolai –
The Google Fi SIM worked in Korea, Mongolia and Russia wery well. No extra charge. I would permamently switch to Google Fi, but it does not work in Alaska. Yes, it does not work in Alaska, but it works well in Russia and China.
Also you can reuse the same SIM card to activate a new account. The SIM card is reusable.
Next time I travel, I will reactivate it.
Built in Free Google VPN is a big Must Have when travel overseas.
Deva –
Be patience while activating. Other than that its all good
JasonS –
The card was very easy to activate, I already bought the service through the app so all I had to do. Was pop it in
Okto –
I bought two sims expecting difficulties but to my surprise Google Fi was a breeze to set up on my unlocked s21+.
JerryG –
Never considered Google Fi until recently and switched from T-Mobile. (Fi actually uses their network) I liked the idea of being able to reduce my bill by only paying for what I use. Unlimited is great is you use a lot of data that isn’t on wifi but I have unlimited home internet and in my truck so why pay twice. They also allow a LTE watch to be on the network without paying a line charge. Very nice. Customer service is excellent with almost instant call back if needed.
EvaStar –
Worked great! I was able to use it right away and received a credit on my Google Fi bill.
A1SWEETS –
Switch to Google fi best decision I could ever do.
minimalist –
$90~ for 3 lines of 5G data, solid service, and anywhere from 250-400MBPs in the Dallas Fort Worth metro area. I get a max of 35GB per line, but phone calls and text messages are unlimited.
Was able to get esim working as well on 3 Samsung phones.
I’m happy!
AlaaA –
Nice service and excellent for everyone to use in a modern life
TravisE –
The good.. Great service with Google Fi in the city! Excellent 5G speeds. The App is easy to use. Great that LTE smartwatch connectivity is included.
The bad.. service out in the country can be hit-or-miss. But, not a big deal for me being a city-dweller. The setup was frustrating.. the card was “expired” (worrisome; although it ended up not being an actual issue), and I had to swap SIMs and reboot my phone like 5 times (mostly to get SMS texts for the port-out process).
All-in-all.. the service is great and would recommend it, even though the setup is a little rough.
MarcoS –
easy to install with google fi instructions, worked in ten minutes.
TylerD –
GoogleFI is a complete nightmare rto deal with. Do yourself a favor and look up reviewing GFI on Google, you cant. Then look at GoogleFI forums and pay special attention to the fact that the numerous questions trying to find a way to leave a review are idled (like their service) and cannot accept responses. That should tell you all you need to know. If not, look at the one star averages on various review sites. Straight Talk and Verizon have better customer service…legitimately. Its as though they actually try to be amazingly awful. I pray their actual delivery service is infinitely better than their customer service, terms, conditions, and policies.
Peter –
Great plan, great monthly payment, very good coverage and the mobile app does everything.
JerryM –
Thank u Best Buy I set it up quickly and it had extra storage and gigga bit and data y’all always come through
Techiehuman –
Works as you might expect when. Nothing complicated about getting your service up and running.
Jumprom –
Exactly what I needed. The option to pickup my order made everything quick and efficient.
Yunus –
easy to install and activate the line. Google Fi has good service and line range.
Adam –
Great option to get away from the big companies that nickel and dime you for every little thing.
Tom123 –
Bought this to activate a Fi plan with nano SIM. Works as intended after I download the Fi app, activate the nano SIM (not eSIM), and reboot the phone
SohrabP –
In general working good but, sometimes if you get call on hold while you talking with first call the voice get robotics.
mr3wan –
Worked as expected just what was needed. No issues with activation or usage.
