Both upper and lower ovens work great. But I had to deduct 1 point because of the following:
1) I was expecting that it will be an easy installation because this is a replacement for an old 27 inch GE unit. The wall opening (width and height) had to be enlarged a little bit (about quarter inch) for this new unit to fit.
2) Wife said that using it is not as straight forward as the old unit it replaced. Not that it’s complicated but she has to rotate or push knob too many times.

Like this convection combo but the controls for both are at the top and share a common button/ dial. The left side of the button is for the microwave controls and the right for the oven below. To me it seems backwards but I am sure I will get use to it. It was a little pricey but all wall ovens are.

This replaced my kitchenaid micro/oven combo. The kitchenaid was a much better product.
It came with literally no information about how to use the convection ovens. It also has very little choices on any of the dials For example how long to micro a potato or any popular items.
It did not come with any browning pans or racks for convection either.
The dial is used for all choices which again are limited. You can only use increments of 15 seconds to reheat or cook in microwave.
I would never get another ge product.

Supposedly it was readily available. It was scheduled for delivery on two separate occasions. The delivery and set up was cancelled at the last minute each time; with no explanation. Today is the 28th and it still remains undelivered!!

Sent two groups of people to my house. No gloves poor mask hygine, touched all my counters unnecessarily. shockingly terrible experience with an install. Threw out my old unit then said my new doesn’t fit. My advisor Jacob has been ghosting for days now. Best Buy promised me a 24hr call back we’re on day three now. been on hold for over an hour 3 times this week already. everyone I get a hold of says “Sorry but there’s nothing this department can can do” they then returned the unit I purchased without my consent and can’t tell me why of if that’s even allowed. I’m supposedly an elite member too. Hate to think of what they do to people who aren’t. Go anywhere else.

We bought this to replace a current GE microwave/ oven combo. It fit perfectly and looks real nice in its cabinet.
The microwave gets things super hot in a very short time! Easy to operate once you get the hang of things.
The oven portion is awesome as well!
Works like an oven should, turn it on, and let it bake away.

Poor installation, microwave shorted out possibly from poor installation or it was a faulty unit and was returned. After rescheduling three times this unit was efficiently uninstalled and the return was efficient and credited to my account the same day.

So far, so good. Microwave is huge! The audible signal for end of cycle on the micro is way too quiet and cannot be adjusted. We solved this by using the oven timer as well which has a loud enough signal. Install was a breeze.

Love the oven, was a good upgrade over a 16 year old GE profile combo. Have used the dual oven feature several times. The only reason I pulled the star is that it doesn’t have a potato option in the microwave cook option. We used that all the time before.
Convection works well and you get used to the control scheme pretty quickly.

We were limited with options to replace our 27″ microwave/oven, but have been pleased with our purchase. Love the microwave door that lowers instead of swinging to the side. Also enjoy the convection bake option with the upper oven. Allows the use of 2 ovens when needed.

We decided to go with all GE Profile appliances for our remodel. The other appliances are great which surprises me that this oven is a downgrade. The main problem is the microwave. From looking at the outside, my wife didn’t like the looks of just the knob instead of a keypad that is on almost every other appliance. Little did we know that knob actually reduced functionality. I wish I had read the reviews instead of just looking in the store and listening to the salesman.
Like others have said, the microwave time can only be set in 15-second increments. Unbelievable. My very first microwave in 1987 could do better! I did discover a workaround though. I have a product I microwave every morning and the first part of the instructions is for 50 seconds. I start it at 1 minute and after 1 second, open the door. At that time for some reason, you can now adjust the time by 5-second increments!! If it was this way all the time, the use may be acceptable.
When the microwave is done, hopefully, you can hear the very tiny ding. This is the quietest ding I have heard on any appliance ever.
The microwave then keeps running because the oven says it is “cooling”. I am guessing it is because of the convection use of the upper oven, but as everybody knows, that is not needed for a microwave.
With the technology today, I am shocked that GE actually accepted the design of this appliance. We have even considered buying an additional microwave for the countertop just because of the lack of functionality of this one. Please look at other brands for the double combination oven.

The controls are not as user friendly as most, but I truly enjoyed using this oven, especially the probe cooking. Again, I loved using this oven and then 13 months after purchase the microwave magnetron was broken just before the holidays. Two months later, the controls went out completely, while the oven was still on. I had to cut the power with the breaker. Got a new mother board/ control panel. Next day, same thing. Its been a nightmare, days of missed work, constant cancellations because parts didn’t arrive and now, even with Geek Squad protection plan, Best Buy tells me they don’t have any 27″ microwave oven combo wall units to replace it with. This is all that fits in my kitchen. There has been no help, I can only get credit returned to my Best Buy account. Now I have a ton of credit at Best Buy and no manager is willing to find a real solution for me. Maybe you will have better luck if a 30″ wall unit fits in your kitchen.

I purchased this oven in September 2020 because my old ge oven died. When using the convection mode my whole chicken never cook evenly. So I did a test with three probe thermometer and the top bottom and middle were like 25 degrees different. In April I decided to use the self clean option and the oven communication stop working so I call ge they couldn’t fix it so they replaced it. It took 3 months for them to replace my oven and it was the wrong color because my color was on back order.

It’s a good oven/microwave combo, but the controls are a little old fashioned compared to others I have had. You have to figure out all the steps instead of just pushing a button. For the price, it should have easier technology controls. It looks good though in the kitchen

The 27″ GE Profile is a nice and modern looking unit with curved handles. The microwave is a bit shorter in height than I’m used to, but everything fits in there so far. I’ve only used the basic oven features and so far so good. I wish the controls at the top had a number pad to put in the exact minutes to cook instead of going several levels down to select the appropriate cooking time by item (like potato or eggs); however, I just use the ’30 second’ button to approximate my cooking time and it seems to work. The one drawback I had is that because the microwave door comes down (like ovens do), it dented my refrigerator door because it hit the microwave door once when opened. The solve this, I just added a rubber bumper to the edge of the microwave door.

Great product. Initially I thought that that without keypad, i wont be able to set timer. The dial is a great feature. You can increase or decrease time as needed by rotating right or left. Love the low beep. Also keeps food warm. I am happy I bought this among the various options I had.

First this combo does cooking like you would expect. The Microwave part can act as a small convection oven and it is actually quite good. The Oven is fancy enough to do most cooking but… In our experience, It takes “forever” to heat up to any temperature you might want and the automatic temp drop when cooking with convection is something that one has to learn to deal with.
My lady says that there is a beep when the oven is finished preheating — but I’ve never heard it. I also have never heard the beep when the microwave has finished it’s cook cycle. The timer’s bell is loud enough for me to hear however.

I love this oven. I’m glad that another brand order fell through and that I ended up with the GE Profile. However, I do agree with other customers who have said that the timer notification at the end of cooking or microwaving is not loud enough. One doesn’t hear it unless they are in the kitchen close-by. Back to the plus side, delivery and installation of the oven was on schedule with no delays, which was not the case with the other brand where delivery was delayed time and time again. I finally said “enough” and ordered the GE. Plus we rec’d over $1000 price difference credit.

Beautiful stainless steel upscale appearance. Haven’t used a lot yet but so far good. Our old unit was slightly longer vertically with trim so we have a small area of wall at top and bottom visible to repaint but no gaps so that’s ok.
