    the bottom drawer is so cheaply made, I probably would not have purchased this stove if it was on display ! Plus it had two chips on the top front of the stove. I was given $100.00 credit in store. But after I use up the credit I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO BEST BUY ! I WILL NOT DEAL WITH A STORE THAT YOU CANNOT CONTACT DIRECTLY !

    The stove not working on the left side another on come on 9/2/23 dent on the right side now she has to wait until the 9/20/23 for best by to deliver another one.

    This range is awful. I was leery of buying anything made by GE, because I’ve had problems with everything I’ve bought from them. I should have listened to my gut, but it sounded like a decent deal and I was trying to save money. Never again. The big burner in front burnt out in just under 1 year. Then the on light never turned off. From the beginning, none of the burners would simmer. If you turned the heat down to 1, everything still boiled. It was only one temperature, no matter the setting you used. The oven temps were way off too, when I tested them with a thermometer. In less than 3 years, the insulation was coming off around the oven door. It lasted less than 4 years, before it stopped working altogether. Just came out one morning and it was completely dead. Buy a different brand.

    I love this range except I did not realize how delicate the ceramic glass cooktop is, requiring special cleaning and you HAVE to keep the bottom of the pots clean and spotless! Other than that I love how it cooks and does not overheat the kitchen and house!!

    The stove was easy to install and appears to work just fine. After several weeks I noticed that the ‘Hot Cooktop’ warning light wasn’t working though. Raising the top I found that one of the connectors was detached from the light and had fused onto the tin shrouding. I’ll attempt to contact GE for a replacement light tomorrow. Truthfully, I’m not real happy about working on a new appliance.

    This stove is perfect for the everyday at home cook. It has everything that a family needs for good cooked meals. I like its size as it is perfect for the smaller to average size kitchen. The Power Boil works great—very quick to boil—and the ceramic glass cooktop is quick and easy to clean.

    Replaced a 25 year old Whirlpool that needed a new control panel so my comparison of this GE is against the old reliable one. Initial impressions: The glass cooktop is hard to keep clean. Even using cleaner specifically made for glass cooktops, there are still splotches that will not wipe clean. Guess that’s something you just have to live with. Also, the oven and cooktop take longer to heat up compared to the old Whirlpool. But the price of the GE was one of the better values compared to what’s currently on the market.
