  1. MoonMusic

It’s certainly true that appliances don’t last as long as they did 30 years ago! This replaced a DW from 2016. This dishwasher does have the added feature of a 3rd rack — which is located at the very top. The sanitizing and boost and dry cycle are also great to use. So far, all is holding up well. The spinning, water sprayer arm can pop off, but is easy to put back in place.

  2. ewhtexas

Ordered a Bosch but kept getting back ordered. This is less money but all the same features

  3. SundayShopper

Our 4 year old dishwasher died unexpectedly and we searched all the well known sites for a replacement that was as close to the features as we were used to in our existing model. COVID must have made dishwashers in high demand, because most were months away for delivery. We lucked out and were able to get this one quickly and it had almost all of the features we wanted. We’ve been pretty pleased with it so far.

  4. Rose

Quiet machine. Love the bottle washers! 3rd rack is cool, but it cuts into the space for top rack.. so now more things have to go on bottom. Like the timer. Went in easy like all my others.

  5. Meaty

Replaced my previous GE dishwasher as it seemed to do such a great job until the circulating pump went out. I was excited to get the 3rd rack and bottle washer feature along with a more silent noise rating. It is very very similar to my old model, and even seems to have a lot of the same parts. I was not a fan of the new design that has the removable silverware caddy taking up so much space inside the bottom rack. My previous GE allowed me to fill the bottom rack to capacity, and hand the caddy on the front of the rack and close the door. My old rack and caddy fits this unit, but before I did that I discovered that all of my silverware fits nice and uniformly in the 3rd rack. Not only can I fit so much more into it, I can pull the whole tray out and pluck the silverware from my countertop and put it in the drawers easily. I can also place long utensils and sharp knives in there tucked away from my kids fingers when she goes to get a cup for water. Nice peace of mind. Another great feature is there is a quick wash feature, and the main wash only takes 80 mins. The operating sound (while higher pitched than my previous GE), is overall quieter. This dishwasher isn’t without a few disappointments. This 3rd rack does take up some 2nd rack real estate, so our larger cups no longer fit up there. The bottle washers are only useful if you are putting baby bottles on them. Any other drinking bottle is far too long to fit. Last but not least EVERY single time we place a cup, glass, or anything deeper than a small bowl on any corner of the upper rack it gets sediment build-up. We always had to pluck those 4 items after each wash and hand rinse the sediment out. From now on we just place shallow/wider items there to save the hassle. Would I buy this dishwasher again? Yes. I’ve had a few other brands and have seen friends and family switch to the GE’s and love them after having “bad” dish washers.

  6. Patrick

Excellent install service, friendly, clean and efficient.
Much more than I can say about our Magnolia install
    Thank you,
    Geek Squad

  7. dishwasher

Purchased for a rental property. The tenants are happy with the dishwasher. I can’t say anything else about it as I haven’t used it personally.

  8. Eanon

So far, so good. I like the top tray, and how quiet it is.

  9. JennLBrown

My old dishwasher stopped working during the pandemic with dishwashers on backorder. I finally caught this one in stock online after months . Geek Squad delivery was on point. This is so quiet. Love the 3rd shelf & the 1 hr wash feature. It has a large utensil holder. The gray interior will hide any stains.

  10. ABestBuyer

The product functions as we expected from the model. The third rack is an interesting and useful feature. The sound is much lower than the previous dishwashers. We believe this model provided a good value for a reasonable price.

  11. dgard1

Have used it 6 times since it was installed by geek Squad folks. Already stopped working. Waiting on a scheduled repairman…4 days from now.
How can a brand new appliance already fail? Only reason I gave 3 stars is because it does a decent job when it works. Outside of that I would have given 1 star.

  12. TimK

    Pros: It is extremely quiet
Cons: 3rd rack blocks objects on 2nd rack. Silverware holder cannot be relocated. Buttons are too easily hit when closing. Dispenser door fails to open.

After 6 months this dishwasher already needs repair. The detergent dispenser door does not open and we’ve done all of the standard troubleshooting to no avail. Despite this, I’m not very pleased with this dishwasher as it’s design and features, which sound good, make it difficult to use and annoying.

I’ve already removed the top rack as it prevented anything other than a standard sized glass being placed on the 2nd rack, including water bottles, travel mugs and bowls.

The silverware rack cannot be relocated as it only fits in one spot. This is not a big deal during a meal clean-up but if you want to quickly open the dishwasher and toss in a fork or spoon, you have to fully lower the door and slide out the bottom tray to use any of the back slots for the silverware.

When opening and closing this dishwasher you must be careful not to press on the door (it flexes in a lot) or the center of the top as you’re sure to hit a button and change how the dishwasher runs.

It is not a very fast dishwasher, and for the extra time taken it doesn’t appear to clean much better than our 15 year old whirlpool did. I would not recommend this product.

  13. Joan

Does a very good job on cleaning and drying as long as the “dry boost” is on. It takes 180 minutes for a normal cycle. It is very quiet! I also am pleased with the 3rd “drawer” for spatulas, cooking spoons, tongs, etc. My only disappointment is that it will not accommodate my large 12″ skillet unless I sacrifice a lot of space.

  14. Laura

Let me start by saying I hate buying new appliances. Especially when I purchase them online. This dishwasher lived up to every word in its description. The best part about it is how quiet it runs. Sometimes I don’t even realize it is on. It does the trick and we are satisfied with this purchase.

  15. pamela

bought this a year ago, and was concerned as everyone told me these new dishwashers don’t really dry the dishes well. I’ve been very happy with this one, as i start it at bedtime, and in the morning their totally dry. Extremely quiet when running. Highly recommend .

  16. Great

Great dishwasher. Works perfectly. Glad we made this choice. Has plenty of really nice features. Would certainly recommend our purchase.

  17. CoopCultureTV

Surpassed my expectations for being quiet. The hose it came with did not fit my existing setup and that was a beast to fix. Third top rack should be like 3-5cm higher, wine glasses can catch on it pretty easily. We can (but don’t often) use the steam setting so you don’t really have to pre-rinse stuck on food. Zero problems with any clogging or disposal issues. Great unit!

  18. Maria

Best advice I can give you is to make sure you measure it out so it fits!

  19. Abeaumaster

It’s been amazing! Super quiet, cleans perfectly the first time and sooo much room to fit dishes! Best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

  20. HappyCleaning

This style dishwasher has been terrific. My husband installed it and it has run perfectly. I love the third tray for sharp knives or even the shaker bottle lids.

  21. Chip

Smaller inside then anticipated, but cleans the dishes and love the 3rd shelf. Tall glasses need to go on the bottom shelf. Nice options on cleaning cycles.

  22. April

Excellent product. The space is great and love how quiet the dishwasher is when running. Lots of bells and whistles at a great price!

  23. MN90

I’m from the era that you pre-rinse your dishes. I am getting out of that habit as this GE dishwasher cleans just great. It is quieter than the crusty one that was replaced. Make sure you have the Finish drying agent compartment filled. If not the dishes will not properly dry, I found that out the first week as I thought something was wrong with dishwasher, it was user error. I regularly use the Heavy setting and then the bottle washer as needed.

  24. ManassasVA

Looks nice and runs well. One small problem, but called service department and they came out and fixed it.

  25. Lofty

Washes dishes well but has a lot longer run time than the one it replaced, hence the four stars. I suppose that a family with babies or a couple of kids would find the bottle washer bit handy and has lots of places for silverware in the top shelf and the holder in the bottom shelf.

  26. juan

Nice dishwasher, many ways to load…holds quite a few dishes.
Only wish the silverware rack would split.
Cleans great… dries great, would recommend

  27. Dishwasher

Installation team showed up on schedule, replaced old dishwasher, new one is running great, took old one.

  28. Dontbuy

Wouldn’t start or rest. Customer support was useless.

  29. bjahns

Had it for about a month and a half now, so far works great! This replaced the already old dishwasher that was included with the house when we bought it 18 years ago. The new one washes everything just as well (we do lightly rinse our dishes before putting them in, not sure if that matters) but now nearly silently. My wife ran it the other day while I was in the living room (right next to the kitchen) and I went in the bathroom to check if my kids had left the bathroom sink or shower barely running as I thought I could hear a little bit of water running, it wasn’t until later that I realized it was the dishwasher running! Even standing right in front of it you can barely tell it’s running from the noise. Pretty great appliance considering it’s one of the cheapest you can get

We also opted for Best Buy’s delivery and installation. The tech that came out was absolutely great. Although I’m very handy myself, it was worth the money as he knew exactly what he was doing and explained everything to the point that none of us has bothered reading the manual.

  30. Shopper

Main reason for the three-star review is that the dishwasher was damaged upon arrival. To be clear, the box and packaging was fine, the dishwasher must have been damaged at the factory before being packaged. Delivery crew was good, and the dishwasher works fine. But the front bottom corner was badly dented.

  31. bakd2

The dishwasher is quiet and was easy to install. It is big improvement for the old one. It is a middle of the road dishwasher.

  32. Dani5308

Love that it has 3 shelves. It’s quiet. The filter is easy to remove & clean. So far, so good!

  33. Russ

it is working great and my wife really likes it. dries real well

  34. Hatebestbuy

Not happy with my purchase. I dont even have it yet. First my installion was cancelled because my appliance wasnt in. Now my appliance is in and have to wait over 3 weeks for my delivery. Unacceptable!!

  35. BlueCat912

Cleans great, runs quietly, and dries dishes very well.

  36. plporter

Compared to my last dishwasher, this is pretty quiet which is nice. Seems to do a decent job however, you should still scrub the dishes if there is something difficult stuck on there (like sourdough discard). I’ve only used this a handful of times as I can clean the dishes quicker in the sink – this machine seems to take a super long time, even on the shortest setting but it will hopefully come in handy during the holidays when I will have extra baking/cooking and dishes to do.

  37. DISHWASHER

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE T USE DISHWASHER SINCE PURCHASING IT 30 DAYS AGO IT KEEPS SAYING H20 CODE GE CAME OUT SAID IT WAS INSTALL NT CORRECT. INSTALL CAME OUT SAID GE NEED TO BRING ANOTHER NEW ONE. I NEED A GOOD NUMBER TO GE TO REPLACE DISHWASHER AND HOPE THAT SOLVES MY 1000 DOLLAR PROBLE

  38. jalor170

The install was quick and well done , washer is real quiet, works well so far

  39. Satisfiedcustomer

Very quiet, so far so good. Cleans well. Just hope it lasts as long as our last GE dishwasher that was 30 plus years.

  40. Cellphonehappy

This dishwasher is so quite you can hardly hear it running. Dishes are clean without rinsing.

  41. Dishwasher

I love my new dishwasher it has 3 shelves very easy to use and understand love it

  42. dish

Wife’s happy with it. What more would I want?…..

  43. GEbuyer

We liked this dishwasher very much. Unfortunately, it arrived damaged and leaked (appeared to be dropped) and I then told by the store that it was discontinued. I had to move to another model which I am not happy with. GE missed the mark by discontinuing this model.

  44. dishwasher

really really quite. cleans excellent would reccomend to buy this machine.

  45. Arkmaster

This dishwasher works great, we are very happy with it!

  46. ChrisB

Broken after 3-years with very little use (1-2 times a month). Online research indicates a defect with the door latch/electronic control board that only lasts around 3-years. With the headaches involved with installing a dishwasher, this model should be avoided.

  47. NASCAR3

I had to buy this during the height of Covid! Not much inventory to choose from but it’s horrible! Small interior, noisy, the racks are set up terribly so that nothing ever fits and the dishes don’t come clean! I would not recommend this product!

  48. Seth

We have had this dishwasher for 4 years. It broke a few months ago and a repairman came out to fix it, he said the computer board on it broke and would be more expensive to fix it with a new board than to get a new dishwasher.

  49. Sucks

Bought 2y years ago and already in the garbage!! Cannot repair

  50. Pebbles

I Love it! It works great. I like that you can adjust the 2nd rack into a higher or lower position depending on what is being washed.
