    I purchase a 12cup processor so I was very disappointed because on receiving the food processor i noticed the first thing was it was a 10cup processor in a 12 cup box it looked like it was used , so I had to send it back not happy with this purchase

    This has been a great food processor. We bought it just before Christmas and was able to use it for making dinner. It quickly chopped up carrots and made quick work of them. Later we were able to use it cut up slices of red and green peppers for a stir fry.

    There are several attachments and blades that you can use for making quick work of any food. Switching them is easy and cleaning them is as easy as throwing them in the dish washer. The motor is strong and didn’t have any issue making their way through carrots. I have yet to use every attachment but the slicers and choppers have worked excellent and the large cup size makes large dinners a breeze.

    An outstanding product! …comes with additional blades and slicers!

    As all food processors have quirks …the only one I can see is the the chopping feature…. you need to use with pulse…and watch it for your desired consistancy…or the items come out like mush!

    Otherwise.. It is extremely well built ..does not move when you do any of your items… several safety features included…

    One of the best food processors I have ever owned!

    I love making curries in this thing, I haven’t gotten the hang of shredding cheese yet though. It blends very well. Don’t be afraid to leave it on for a minute to get a nice smooth sauce or puré

    I love this food processor. I haven’t used all the attachments yet but I’ve had such good experiences with the ones I have that I highly recommend it! I gave 4 stars because of how the cup attaches to the base. It wasn’t the easiest to get right away, but that may have been more about use error than a legitimate design issue. It wouldn’t stop me from recommending it or from buying it again, but I thought it might be worth mentioning so future buyers are aware it could be tricky.

    Just got this food processor a month ago to replace our 12 cup Cuisinart. So far so good. Lots of blade attachments for different preps, including an emulsifier. I like this food processor because it has no rubber seals where food can get stuck and cause the whole lid to become funky. Our Cuisinart had that problem and we got tired of replacing lids only to have the same problem. Everything on the GE processor is easy to clean. The attachments are very lightweight—not sure about durability but we’ll see.

    Used this often, preparing foods for Christmas. Very pleased with it overall; only thing I don’t like is the dial knob. I am used to having buttons to push to run a food processor; the dial is slippery if my hands are slightly wet, and since my grip strength is not great, it’s hard to grip. I love the ease of attaching and removing the blades!
